Good morning dear...all is well here...

Good morning Sweetie..and all is well here too. Sam doesn't seem to be any the worse for wear..got slashed a few places, but peroxide and water and bacitracin have taken down any swelling. He's a feisty lil bugger!

Ya see my thinking is.....They'd have to do something about it before that note can be removed and it would aggreviate them to no end to have to look around it all the time....LOL

Sam got into a brawl with Big Red...a long haired red male that's been hanging around..I was in the back yard when the caterwalling started and it was way up on the hill and lasted until I found them and scared off Big Red and sent Sam scurrying for the house. From all the screaming I thought I'd find one of them dead...

That would work! Lol I was gonna say a different color per driver, but I don't think they make that many.

Would be one big rainbow. ;)

Last year we had about 30 or so feral cats outside...it was like a Royal Rumble" out there everyday...LOL....we trapped nearly everyone of them and shipped them off to local ranchers to work for food....mousers.....

Think about it..they are juggling many loads, customs, customers...drivers nag calls....all at the same time....the fact that Ron or me wants to go home doesn't even come up.....maybe when it is slower yes....but at peak times....our requests would be the last thing on their minds...

That was a good move. Probably a lot quieter now.

Now that was fun...what a sight Big Bummer made riding on the dashboard of the sprinter. You had kind of a wild eyed look in your eyes too...*LOL*

John does a lot for the drivers and o/os. As the fleet grows, at some point the issue is gonna have to be addressed. If you ever get to a truck stop, (away from wally world) read some of the recruiting rags, probably 95% mentioned something about hometime. How it is done, I don't know.

From a recruiting stand point, it opens up more areas. Keep in mind there is more than just the expedite division. It is an important part of the trucking industry as a whole.

Maybe the time is not right yet.

I am thinking maybe the old whiteboard way?.....the supervisor chalks issues to be addressed during the period and as they are resolved the supervisor could wipe them off...sort of make it a goal orientated thingee...

Would be cheap to implement, and should be effective....IF the manager keeps on it...

ALSO...1st outs could be done in this manner on the same board....goal would be to remove that truck number
