Stayed away from Ferry I hope.
I almost went on it twice.
had the BIG ferry ride once to Newfoundland....a 7hr ride....delivering a jet helicopter engine to an EMT copter...customer paid the fair both ways...

Nice.

I've never been to that one.
Been to one from Germany to Denmark about 4 times though. Can imagine...
its a 900 kilomile drive around the island from the port...only 1 hwy anyways....the long ferry ride directly to St Johns doesn't run in the winter....

let me guess.....you were early then they were expecting or they weren't informed anything was shipping?...
Well yes i was 30 minutes early ... but didn't count that time ... 20 minutes late to finish 5th skid .. 20 mintes for paperwork ... and then forklift driver filled out his morning inspection sheet to operate the forklift ... i just smile and shake my head anymore ...

Skids 45 x48 x34 tall ... so 1 + 2+ 2 into van ... new bed setup works great as twin bed rests atop first skid ... in case of power nap needed ..

I hear even sprinter has to pay several hundred bucks each way.
yeah now this is many years ago...it was $135....EACH way...the weird laughable thing was they didn;t sell round trip tickets!! and there is the underbody van wash when disembarking on the mainland...and the confiscation of any potatoes onboard...
