The subject has long since ceased to have the slightest bit of humor or interest to the majority of folks, and worse than boring, it gives the impression that this is one of those sites where 'inside jokes' keep newbies out - is that what you guys want here?
Because after you've driven everyone away but the handful who still yuk over the stupid shorts, then what?
EO is a resource I'd like to see thriving, and beating dead horses is hardly the way to keep it interesting, IMO.
And BTW: we had this conversation awhile ago, but some folks just don't get it.

Why on earth would you have 'cause to yelp'? It's pretty obvious that the comments are made with affection for your husband - if I were you, I'd be happy about that.
If you think I'm overreacting, go check out the other expediting site, and see what it became: an insiders place, where outsiders don't even bother to join. It died from lack of interest by any but a handful.
When the site gets boring [insider jokes, too much idle & inane chat] it is circling the drain, and I like EO too much to say nothing.
It's easy to consider this 'our' place, but that would be the kiss of death - we NEED new voices, too. We need other viewpoints & knowledge, or we will be passed up in favor of sites that are more interesting.

I think we had a long discourse on here about how a certain thread was ruining the place because to many people were not sticking to the letter of the thread. We can all see where that great experiment went. Kinda makes me think of a discussion I had with my daughter the other day. She was complaining about a kid in her class who wasn't pulling his weight and only doing what he liked nothing else. I replied to her that one of the best lessons she can learn in life is to concentrate on what she herself does and try not to let what others do or do not do affect her.

Didn't know I was JuJu. After all I've had to deal with in the last ten days, I was just trying blow off steam and have a few laughs.
Cheri, I took your initial post as being jokingly sarcastic. Sorry. The spirit of this thread is one of information. Humor was added along the way making it a great thread to follow. The fact that it has so many views more than proves that.
Load 1 is a great place to work. Those of us who do are having fun again doing the job we like, and we have been expressing it here. Any newbie that reads the thread should be able to pick that up whether they understand the humor or not.
That said, while I disagree with your subsequent posts about the shorts, I'll defend your right to say them right down to the ground. However, they will not deter me from making future comments about the shorts if I wish to do so.

It sounds as if it bothers you that much, maybe you should start youre own website, free of humor.If you dont want to do this, then just pass on by those posts about the shorts.This and other humor is what gives us a chance to vent and have fun after a maybe a bad day,sometimes some of us need to laugh once in awile,even if the subject is several months old, and wont die.
Look at how long some bring up TJP and Laredo.So what? It is all in good humor.
If you havent noticed, as I have, there have been several new people come out of the wood work on here.The most I have seen in awile.This is an excellent sign that this website is growing, along with new advertisers.

Gotta disagree with the below bit. I'm researching Load1, in the hopes of getting my truck owner to switch (and for myself, if I purchase the truck from him). There is some great info in the thread, but having to wade through 57 (as of right now) pages, and lots of them are the 'shorts' subject, is pretty tedious. After the 1st few such posts, I skipped by them, but who's to say there wasn't some useful bit of info in the post that I've now missed?
Humor does belong here, as well as friendly give and take, but..
it may be humorous to the few who were originally involved, but to others, Cheri's right, it's just a boring topic that has been beat to death.
Just a fairly newbie's perception.

Yes, that comment was needed.It was my opinion, and I stated it.
I was not arguing whether or not Cheri has posted good or bad on here.I know she has posted alot of good, making alot of good points in the subject.
Without a doubt, yes, this is a Load One thread.I think the biggest thread on here,with the most replies and views.But are there really pages after pages about his shorts? I believe not.Just little comments here and there.Big deal.
What I was getting at, once again, is that if it bothers her that much, ignore it and move on to the next post.Is that that difficult to do?Or does it stop the thinking process? I dont know.Just speculating.
Let me ask you a question-If you are driving down the highway, enjoying the day, cruise set, listening to youre favorite song, and you come up on a truck that cannot seem to keep his speed up, and is doing that speed up, slow down thing, are you going to stay behind him and complain,letting it screw up your progress and day? I think not.You'll most likely go around him/her, and go about youre day,as if nothing has happened after awile.

Remember we all have opinions ,and while there are certain topics that **** some of us off others get a smile or laugh out of it. Thats what makes all of us a little different.
