Anyway, at the yard...had a nice lunch with Todd and American Scott. It was real nice, to sit there and just talk, having a good time at Isis.Saw a strange looking Sprinter in the yard this early morning,as it it was a smart car, but a van...instead..lol...Really hoping for a load this weekend, but it was a slow day, from what I heard. The week was great otherwise. So, it is all cool.

Todd, I want to thank you out loud on here for stepping up to the plate and being there for Ziggi and American Scott by letting them run with you.So thoughtful, and I highly respect you for being there for others in times of need.Thank You.

Naw, the long and big ones are great, so you can slice them into fours, and lay them along the sides, along with the carrots and let them simmer in the onion soup that has been poured on top of the pot roast.

Trust me..we had these small ones last year right out of the garden...they are soooo sweet and tender....melt in your mouth.....

Just got back from dinner with my daughters and their hubbys. Right before we had to rescue my youngest as her truck broke down.

As for the drama that went on here, I have little to say but this.

Turtle, you're out of line. As a Mod, you should know that. Naming someone in a public forum and calling them deceitful among other things, is wrong.

Airing a problem here and not following the chain of command is wrong. As a fleet owner, I balance the problems of three drivers, and address them with the proper management personnel. No problem is addressed in this forum.

The whole thing was beneath you.

Wolfman, you're out of line. You may be a fleet owner with three drivers, but I ain't one of them. I told John I wouldn't say anything else online about this issue, so I won't. The only thing I apologize for is singling out the individual, but I make no apologies whatsoever for recounting an experience at Load 1, and doing so honestly.

As I told Turtle, I have no issue with people posting issues or problems. We run an open and honest business. The bad comes with the good. My only concern was that till a problem has been researched and the facts all brought to light, I do not feel it is fair to single out an individual on here. At least not without running the chain of command and making sure that their is not another side to the story. I in no way want to censor negative things about the company. We have warts, we make mistakes and we F it up good sometimes. The difference is we try hard to address issues and we try to improve. We all need to do what we have always done, good or bad. No need for you guys to argue, Turtle and I talked earlier and I think we were in agreement. You guys bust your behinds and have a very frustrating job and we need to do better at improving communication and reducing the parts we can control.

As for good comments, I personally think that is fine. But an employee shouldn't be judged in the court of public opinion. That is something that should be handled through business channels. The same way that I would handle a driver issue and with the same respect. As many of you have seen first hand in the last week.

I'm out of line huh? You just apologized for one of the reasons I posted. The point I was making about my drivers is that they don't say anything until I have time to find out what happened. There are always two sides to every story.

How did my saying I thought he was wrong make him look bad?? Ken, if you think I should have pm'd him, why don't you think he should have pm'd John in the first place?

Correct, you're out of line. You are in no position to admonish me about anything, to tell me what to do or what to say. You're not a manager or an officer at Load 1. You're not my boss. You're certainly not my daddy. You don't even know me. You're a fleet owner, a contractor, that's it. How you handle your drivers is irrelevant to this issue. What you want me to do is beyond irrelevant. John and I talked for quite a while today. He gave me his position, I gave him mine, we both explained them to each other's satisfaction. We are in agreement. What you think about that is irrelevant. If you still have a personal issue with me, take it to a PM.

Do we PM John when dispatch does a great job? No....we do the happy dance all over these pages. Our dispatch makes mistakes, so we should hide that? This is how we get branded cheerleaders....

Didn't, don't, have a personal issue with you although it seems you're trying to make it one. I'm done with it here, and I have no need to waste any more time with PM's.

I will happily discuss this, or any other topic for that matter, over coffee at Isis the next time we are in the yard at the same time. If you're interested, let me know and I'll send you my phone number.

Happy Fathers Day! My kids all gonna play nice today, lol. Life's too short for this stuff. People in this world have much bigger problems. Too much gets lost In translation in texts and posts. Everyone is on the same team with the same goals. Let's move forward and not get caught up in something. We all have faults but combined we are better than this.
