Home layin on the sofa...have another doctors appointment noon monday, hopefully back in service monday afternoon...
1 load on Wednesday but it came out of SD into the lanes so overall I am happy....Hopefully I can catch the freight train like Eddie and Jack has.....

i forgot to mention not one nlm/automotive load. must be a record. hope that means the economy is on a real rebound. that would be a plus come july and august.
We only had 2 loads in 15 days. Over 6000 miles. How bad is that?

In Effingham,relaxing, an enjoyable and relaxing day of driving,I'll finish up on the rest of this load tomarrow.
Maybe I'll change my voicemail greeting to a shorter one..Have had complaints of it being too long..one person actually timed it at 52 seconds long..geeez !!! I really don't listen to the messages anyway.I mean, if I miss the call, I will see the number on the caller i.d. and call back asap.If it was a blocked call, well, too bad !!lol.

Of all people who know better...*slap* the miles are secondary to the rate per mile....you know that....gee whizz... how these newbees going to learn anything if we keep quoting miles all the time....
LOL!! Just being a "pain" I am SO good at that. We won't EVEN go into the "rate per mile" on those two runs. Needless to say, they were "above average" for our truck.
We took this "Little" 300 mile run to insure the weekend off. It has been WONDERFUL!!! In fact, if I remember correctly, we had the last 2 weekends free BEFORE this one!! Nothing like being PAID TOURISTS!!

We had a GREAT evening out!! Then spent so MORE time in the motel HOT TUB!! Cheapo my hind leg!!
Come to think of it, that nice little motel in Sand Point Idaho last weekend had a hot tub too!! Nothing like being a tourist!!

We have a Monday morning (0630) pick up. Maybe we might end up at the house next weekend. We are due for some reefer work. We like to get it done at the shop near home. It will be "Father's Day" as well. Dad will be 88 in Oct. It would be nice to spend that day with him!!

Did I pass one of us today (Saturday) on I-70 (mm 140ish) between Terre Haute and Effingham? I was going west, and tri-state sprinter with airtabs was heading east.
I set a personal record this week. For one pick up and delivery it took six addresses before the job was done. At one point the pick up location that I was headed to turned out to be the delivery address. It started out as a super rate, but with all the redirects it ended up being only better than average.
1600 mile week. Better pay than weeks past.
