Ok, looking at this years July slowdown vs last year:

Sprinters
1st week avg rev per unit up $315.68
2nd week avg rev per unit up $433.44
3rd week avg rev per unit down about $26 per unit, but I don't have final numbers for last week.

Straight Trucks
1st week avg rev per unit up $339.03
2nd week avg rev per unit up $373.47
3rd week avg rev per unit up $491.85 per unit, but I don't have final numbers for last week.

So while it is slower than June for sure, it looks like the fleet is doing much better than they did on average last July. Not sure how this compares to your individual numbers for last year, but I know it is easy to forget how things were a year ago.

In west memphis now, My last July was pretty good (Right place, time thing). This July has been a stinker so far. 5 days empty and holding :(

Always hard to tell around the yard. Local units and Canadian units often move the numbers around but do not really affect your standing.

Agreed, that is a big part of it. I have had some units sit way too long and others do well. The word of the month is inconsistency!

At least I haven't added to the woes of those sitting by taking many loads. I've been OOS for three weeks. Had a problem with the van, then another one, then another one, and then yet another one. All minor, more annoying than anything, but if only they'd reared the ugly head all at once instead of 2 or 3 days apart. Then there was the DOT Physical, and other doctor appointments which were scheduled several days apart. Spent the last few days just getting used to some new medications (made me tired, nauseous, headaches and diarrhea, it was awesome), but that's over with. I'll be back in service today or tomorrow. Got a lot done around the house and on the van, though.

Looking to see if anyone is interested in having their truck in the Load One booth at the Great American Truck Show in late August in Dallas.
