Finally made it home to Florida going to take a couple of weeks off to get some work done on the old hoopty and catch up on things around the house.

If you go propane route id recommend carbon monoxide detector i used the buddy heater most of the winter last winter in the cv

I'm using a big buddy with two 20lb tanks. I have a cm detector mounted near the floor. I've had no issues. It has an oxygen sensor that will shut it down if there is not enough. I always turn the propane tank off first to drain the line. I let it run out then shut off the buddy. I just can't afford an espar right now.

good move on draining the line....I had that line burst at the Crimp where they join the fitting.....van filled with propane in no time....very scarey few seconds....
