Again?....servers were down last weekend as well....I called in Sat. and they loaded 2 shower and point and then when the servers came online I got the credits again....ended up with 8 showers!

Those were the days of perculators? remember them?>....LOL
They also used to close between 2-5am? to make the donuts.
at the beginning yes....but the busier ones would have extra help as every store had its own baker in store.....the counter girl also had to do the toppings and fillings and clean trays! ...

Had a pretty good first week back for 2015. I can cross another thing off my never done list. A delivery to a residential house. This had to be the scariest delivery I ever made. Middle of nowhere, 5am Very dark and foggy. I find two mailboxes at a driveway, I turn up the driveway hoping this is it. A single lane dirt road takes me 1/4 mile further into the woods. I come up to what looks like a shack house with a yard filled with everything you can image. The only light on is a porch light. No working phone number to verify it's the right house.
At this point, I just don't want to get shot if it's the wrong house. I contact dispatch, using images to describe what it looked like and what was in the yard, sounded like the right place. Dispatch stayed on the phone as I took the package and made my way walking up to the house. As I get near the house some bird type animal screams at me from a large cage. To dark to see what it was, looked like a turkey. I finally reach the door to see one of those owner is armed signs, oh great. I knock, and after a short wait someone comes to the door and all is good

I both delivered to and picked up from residential customers, but it was nowhere near as you describe.

Still not over that Hawks/Packers game. That was likely the best game I've ever seen, not that I'm biased.
I've done a couple residential deliveries, no problems either. The ones that gave me pause were to a motel room, and a storage unit, lol, and they both were fine too. It keeps life interesting, and I kind of like that.

OoS today due to what I believe is the flu. Going to dr later to get it checked. While I'm off I believe I'mma check out some hotshot companies cause that looks like something I'd like to try. Hope everyone has a good week!
