We delivered a load yesterday to Red River Army Depot in Hooks, TX from VA and will be picking one up in North Little Rock, AR later this morning that is going back to VA. Almost 3,000 miles this week. It's been a GREAT week after last week's dismal 400 miles!

We are checked into Miami, we are staying at Mrs. Layoutshooters mom's place in Pembroke Pines, FL. Hope to get some fishing in if the weather gives me a break. Thunderstorms all day today. Give me a shout if your in the area and maybe we can work out a fishing trip.

In Daytona Beach on seven-day vacation. My last visit here was 25 years ago, in 1984, as a college kid. This time around, two of my three children are university students with the third in the Marines. Time passes much too quickly.

After 1 week of a solid drenching and outfitting my van with pontoons, I am back in Ohio from my florida trip, mainly since my Ohio registration tags need to be renewed on my van....Or I would still be fishing. I did manage to get a couple of nights of fishing on the pier in but not before running a load to Hollywood, Fl and then coming back to Ohio. It's late, I left exit 29 Flying J off of 95 in Georgia today at 11am and was here by 1220am so I'm tired ya'll have fun now...ya hear?!

No, I am just going to luck out and get a load that picks up 3 miles from where I am sitting and delivers straight through to Toledo and pays $4.55 per mile, no reefer!!!

I will just see what happens for a day or two.
