No luck in that department. I guess there was too much freshwater mixing in with all the saltwater from all the rain that Florida had, so the feeshes moved out into the ocean more. would've been better if I had a boat. both nights I went was a bomb. guess I do have that black cloud still over my van.

Ok started the week after the holiday bein #6 within 100 miles of Toledo...took off for chicago...got aboot to defiance oh on the ohio turnpike, got a call to run down to Bowling Green Ohio and pickup 2 light skids goin to Elba Ala...straight thru....dropped at 6 am, went to Enterprise Ala to the Walmart to get some sleep, got a run to Atlanta.....picked up and took off, got pre-dispatched to take a load to Green Poad SC....Made both pickups and drops, went to Savanah GA to the Pilot to shower and sleep. Was woke up with a call for a run from savanah to West Palm Beach Fla, dropped that a few hours ago, just got a call for a 9 am pickup at the estes express for a short local run down to Rivera Beach....

Hope to get loaded out of here, if not i'll probably stick till sat. around noon, then HD back to Savanah.....Got to chase the freight, not sit and wait for it..........

picked up in ft lauderdale and am heading to orlando....maybe i can spend the weekend in the condo i own in lake buena visita, maybe visit the mouse..... nah , some bar and grill on international dr sounds better.....especially after the $181.00 to have the alterator rebuilt on the truck this morning......:rolleyes:

PS: Dropped in Sanford fla...the condo isn't available and my wife wouldn't fly down here for the weekend, so i DH'd over to the "loves on I-95 at Ormond beach, north of Daytona...probably spend a few days here, see f there is any racin at new smyrna speedway this weekend, they usually have a good sprint car on dirt show there...

CheffDennis, if you want a great meal in Ormond Beach, go to Saddle Jacks, best Ribeye I have ever had.

And dang i started lookin for race schedules, its East Bay that has sprints on dirt down here, new smynra is asphalt late models......Tampa is a bit far to DH for a race,,,oh well maybe i'll get a call for a pickup iver close that way for monday, then i can justify the drive to go get 'dirt in my beer!" ........

PS: Saddle Jacks is out of business, so it was the Daytona Pig Stand for some pretty good BBq...And then the phone rang, picked up in Orlando Fla, deliver to Dawsonville Ga. at 2 am...seeya, i am out of Fla...for now

Spending the night in downtown Dawsonville GA right off of the center of town "Circle" in a parking lot, there are the towns 2 police officers sitting in their cruisers in front of the lot, they told me i could have the back part....LOL....maybe ill run into Awesome Bill tomorrow before I head out of town........:D

PS: Woke up this morning and found that the parking lot is actually the parking lot for the new Dawson County Justice Center....

The local leo's that were there were doing business , there was a steady stream of sheriff cars in and out of the lot all night, not one said a word or knocked on the door...queit and safe, i rolled both windows down at about 4 am and didn't worry about it at all..So if you find yourself in Dawsonville GA (hope not, there isn't much there, I delivered to a banksters home out in the middle of no where, but high dollar homes) you will find a good place to spend the night...

I am now in Carnesville GA at the J, think i might DH up to either Greenville or Blacksburg SC......

on the way out of Fort Worth stopped at the wally world in jacksonville,NC there is no truck stop around here for 60-80 miles drop monday up the road at the point.

awwwwwww .. i love going to Ft worth/Dallas.... its my 2nd home.
im still hangin here....... near chicagoland at the Petro on i57 x 335.......
soo far i see a T/T over in the ahhhh idle air place.....and a cargo van up front parked under a shade tree..... according to the boards.... there are like 15 panthers here..... but where are they all??????? they must be all hiding or summtin...
and i dont see any other expeditors either..... here or across at the Pilot.... hmmmmmm

looks like freight is really strting to move down there was only maybe 3 trucks in the whole state we we buzzed in and out
