i went ahead and ordered that fuel tank for my honda gen. i will be removing the buddy heater.
i was basically doing same thing. but i am hoping to make enough money to pay for a espar gas heater. i no longer want to carry a gas can and a propane tank.
i am keeping the honda to power a room ac unit this summer and to power electic blanket and bed warmer when extreemly cold. i have decided no roof ac unit. do to cost, and so i can remove it for winter ill store it in one of my tool boxes
i no longer want to carry a gas can and a propane tank.

I wonder if a door hinge mounted spare tire bracket would work?
Then back to carrying a gas can for the summer then
Why not get one of those metal gas cans(Jerry cans), the kind you see on a offroad jeep and mount it to the outside back of the van, so you don't have flammables inside the van? I've never liked having gas in a vehicle with me.![]()
