1984 was the last time I was in the arm pit of Texas.
Good afternoon.. another weekend ruining my old rep LOL.. been making money on the weekends lately, so just go with it.. working on my second day in Montgomery.. dispatch is still confident they can get me out, so hangin.
Side note.. if ever I get a lil frustrated waiting.. talking to van drivers from other companies will cheer me right up... running less miles for less money??

I'm not getting rich, but glad for little things here.. like a fuel card, so I don't have to walk around asking drivers to buy my CB radio so I can get fuel to get home....
Supposed to move in a couple weeks, so trying to sock away $$ for moving week, deposits, etc.

why was log editing taken away anyway? just seems like a lot more hassle now.
Some were using it improperly.
Once we get through audit we will review turning it back on.

We'll now the other bad news....we aren't converting anyone back. Working on converting the whole fleet to elog as it will be required soon.

well i dont agree with that should be my choice. it is not a mandate yet could be years till it finally goes thru. since you not making every truck go elog i think i should be able to choose what i want...
edit actually just looked it up and the mandate "could" be the end of 2016 or the beginning of 2017.

same thing here about everything being dead. hardly any traffic coming around chicago yesterday. no back road rural rush hour traffic. today no one in the stores in kokomo, parking lots empty.

Lin's chinese buffet in laredo is good eating for $12 if your bored with the truckstop slop and around the corner from lins is a walmart and dollar movie place behind walmart.
It gives the appearance of not 1 load went out today from Detroit been #1 since last night....heck I haven't even been bumped back yet....LOL
If it didn't take 3 hours to load this one I've got, I would let you complete it. It's your go home trip.
