and I get to get rid of all the branches on the lawn..think I'll just pick up the big ones and chop up the rest with the lawn tractor!

Yep, my Brussel sprouts were taking a beating and so was the horse radish and now no more bugs, no more torn up leaves - just happy small plants.
well between the hoppers and the hail, my leaves have holes in them..now with the rain late this afternoon and the 50MPH winds...I have to reapply for the third time. Just a side note on that..when you apply, do you just dust it on? My legs were covered with it, because the plants are so big that I can hardly get between the rows that I had to jump in the shower after the app because my skin was stinging..

How often did you apply this? I poked a lot of holes in the top of a plastic coffee can and am using at least half a can on every app. It doesn't actually say that it works on grasshoppers, but I was sure hoping.

It works for the grasshopper killers..*l*

Greg...sorry to hear about your sun allergies..my mom had that too.

While not allergic to the sun(I don't think), I am red haired, blue eyed, fair skinned, I can burn in 15 minutes, and the sun actually makes me sick if I am out in it too long, so therefore I avoid it.
I should just sleep all day and stay out all night!!!

I heavily dust and do it when it won't rain for a day or two.

I am still having an issue with the burn, most of it is healed (sort of) but there are two spots that just hurt a lot and the doc said "well they will hurt a lot for a while so get used to it." My company was going to pull a FedEx on me and put me out of service while I was under a load but I explained to them I refused all pain meds (which I really needed) because of what happened to me before with Fedex so they checked with the doctors so confirm I was being honest.

So what is the cause of the allergy to the sun? medication, heredity?

You'd said you got burned on your lower back..the image I have is you bent over your garden and the back of your shirt rode up... That's gotta be painful trying to sit and drive..have you tried aloe?
