A bit better. Hit the gym. Doing that with a head cold is challenging. Off to a sales meeting now and then to pay respects to the family of our fallen driver. Busy Sunday.

Reminds me of my high school basketball coach (yeah...I played...1st five even

). There were no excuses. "So, you got a cold? I'll run it out of ya!". And, he meant it! Lol.

My sympathies to the driver's family. My family has lost a few people in accidents. The sudden shock makes it really, really hard.

Well, good monday morning all. Hope everyone had a tolerable weekend. We did. Didnt get that magical call but it is what it is and it is the start of a new week. Cant complain, for the last week in january it was acceptable.

Had a nice warm day yesterday so we just enjoyed it and got some things done and did some shopping. All stocked up and ready.

At "the yard", my cousin is in orination and getting the box decals put on in morning. I'm hiring my cousin to co-drive with me. I beleive I see Maniac parked across the yard.

Attention Load One contractors and drivers:

The Load One staff will be doing fundraisers for the family of Taquel Dayeh (Dino) over the next week. He is the Load One driver killed tragically last week in a hit and run accident in Indiana. His brother Sal Eldayeh is a long time fleet owner with the company that many of you may know. We will also be accepting donations in both operations and administration through the end of next week. The company has pledged to match all donations dollar for dollar that come in from our staff and fleet. Thank you again and our hearts go out to the family.

got half way thru the bid process and customer says ..nevermind I'll have 1 of my own drivers do it....
