Sitting at a 24/7 truck stop wanna be convenience store in Topeka Kansas. Just ate Golden Corral and got hustled by a bum for $3. He said his 2 daughters are hungry and they are allergic to meat. I pulled out my debit card and told him walk in with me to get them something to eat. He declined and said he was gonna take them up the road to eat. 
I told him he doesnt have to lie to me I then asked if he was gonna go get beer. He looked down and didnt say anything and I gave him $3 and told him he doesnt have to lie. Haha the look on his face was priceless. I get asked for money atleast 1 or 2 times a week Almost never do I give it to them.
Thats why I wish I could carry my pistol out over the road. Never know who will walk out on you in the time you least expect it and what they will do

Delivered our load in Atlanta, sitting at the Petro. BORED already. Out of hours, having to reset, AGAIN.

Ran a total of 1,196 miles this week and was wanting to run more miles, but yesterday morning after making my delivery to Chrysler Mack plant in Detroit I had apparently bought some watered down gas which in turn screwed up cylinder #3 plug in my van that I now have to get fixed. So I am sitting at the house out of service for maintenance til Monday when I can have the mechanic replace the boot and coil on Cyl #3...hopefully I can still salvage next week. This sucks!

could just be time to replace the coil packs shawn. they go bad with no warning. my first one just exited the hole one morning. instant 7 cylinder engine. do all of them. its easier at once than several inconvient outages..

In Baytown Texas at the TA. Man it is cold in Texas! Time for some rest, been driving nonstop since Tuesday, between me and hubby, Tracy driving.
Love Load1 for keeping us busy and the best week. Of our career in expediting so far, financially any way. The roads were absolutely terrible and way too many accidents out this last couple days. We got all our deliveries done though, slow and steady was the key. Experienced closed roads, ice roads in Oklahoma and Texas, watched trucks on their sides, cars fall into ditches, etc, etc. But the Lord was with us and we just went slower and kept moving. At times couldn't see out the windshield due to wipers collecting ice making them unable to clear windshield.
Most people stay off the roads in conditions like this. We are safe and got out job done.

Im still in Fla,,but I moved to one of my special spots,,70degrees,,,Im parked under moss laden-ed, live oaks,rain drops falling on the roof of the cv. I m really roughing it,,I will let u all move the freight today,,,life is short,,play more and stop being in a big hurry,,amen.....................

Loaded out of Santa Teresa NM headed to Taylor Mich..be in there Sunday evening...Will pickup 40 at Amarillio Tx and run through all of those old RT 66 towns, one of my favorite things to when I head back out of Texas/ NM.....
