I didn't have best attitude because of driving in the winter mix that decided to hit fairly hard. I seen a unmarked cargo van that had slid off the road into the medium, looked like him or the tractor off the other side of the eastbound lane were trying avoid one another. So I was late and forgot to put on my safety gear. Ole dude wasn't happy and let me know lol

It's a tough business. We don't have too many problems with shippers/receivers. Only on rare occasions. Mostly at places that have dirty freight, and for the most part, even they are ok.

I do a lot of railroad loads with the company that I'm leased on with. They told me that if a rail-yard employee complains about a driver not wearing safety equipment, they entire load can be charged back to the carrier. My carrier always asks me if I have my safety equipment available in the sprinter when they give me the load. The rail-yard is all unionized hence the strict adherence to the safety rules.

We got your back bro! If you need help just use the special eo yell and every expediter will stop what their doing and come to your aid, there will be more expedite trucks there than you can shake a stick at. IS EVERYBODY WITH ME!?
