Ahhh....it's good to sleep in a nice warm bed....was busy this week. Got a run from Brunswick, Ohio to Latham, NY on Monday. Tuesday I got a run from Waterford, NY to Rhineland, WI which brought me through canada first then across the UP of MI to Wisconsin...nice scenery, but would much rather do that in the summer. Then got a load from Kaukauna, WI (by Green Bay) to Toronto, Ca which got switched out because I have developed a large crack in my windshield. So here I am at my moms in Salem, Ohio waiting on Safetylight to come out and fix my window. which is gonna run me $182.00. which I have to pay in order to get back in service. Here's some pics I took of the UP....Lighthouse on Lake Michigan and other pics.

I thought you drove a CV? How would dispatch know you have a crack?

I have about 50 miles of cracks in my shield..looks like a road map...

Could be worse...you could be going to Ithaca!
Heheheh ... yeah ..... :p

Now, you will have the truth about how those folks in Texas drive on 6 to 8" of snow. It will be there, they have nothing to remove it with...
Yeah, yeah, yeah ..... sounds like another urban legend to me .... you been watchin' too much JIm Cantore on the Weather Channel

Delivered in Arlington ....... 6 hours early :D .... most all the roads and highway are fine - just wet ... the residential streets are still a little dicey tho' ....

But they predispatched me on another one before I could get to the cons and get unloaded .... picks up in Dallas .... going to ..... Canton, MS

Ready now supposedly ..... guess I'll head over there after I finish my Starbucks.

Check yours [keeping in mind, you said to shout, lol].
The snow stopped with 3-4" on the ground, which is mostly melted from the paved surfaces, but still covering the grass. [Poor little dog of mine hasn't seen grass for weeks!]

In Haw River now...after a gruelling "Historic" (borrowed from the Weather Channel)736 miles made somewhat longer by a brain fart on the way down...
my internal navigational beacon must have been hit with a geo-magnetic pulse that shorted my wiring causing me to go 50 miles off route....before my sensors corrected the malfunction...:D

Yeah...I was talking about it to dispatch....didn't really feel like driving the load into canada anyways and I was planning on fixing the crack. Yeah...I drive a cv, but panther will put you out of service with a cracked windsheild....kinda sucks even if you don't have the money to fix it, but I only ended up paying 100$ for it. with the company discount.
