I didn't care if he couldn't spell or was even drunk, sometimes you just got to down some bubbles to make the world a little blurry to see it more clearly. I was just making a statement what I thought. What I was making my statement towards, was the fact I had a hard time understanding what he was trying to tell everybody, just with some humor.

Ahh, funny I guess. But, many of the "experienced" in dis biz will make references to tings that newbs will not "git" unless ya do plenty research. To "wonder what wuz said" an comment at the same time, really shows the midget in the grey. Background, socialization, experiences all have a lot to do with what YOU understand and what you consider humor,etc.etc. Without the author having to splain tings.

And then some of those same "experienced" will make fun of or dismiss the newbs, talking down to them, rather than try to explain things in a manner in which they will understand, or at least point them in the right direction for research. There are some that prefer the "wink, wink, nudge, nudge, knowwhatimean" obfuscations that really don't educate or disseminate anything useful to anyone other than who is being winked at and nudged.

EO is privately owned. Free Speech rights do not apply here. You can start your own forum and have all the free speech you want, but here the rules do apply (for whatever reason)

I use a voice to text program, as you can see its not perfect, just like my typing and spelling are not perfect. Here are some points to consider….

1) Rules in the trucking industry if we were to follow them all we could not move. There are so many rules that there are conflicts (catch 22s) to just about everything.

2) There are some of us that are good at science and math, and then there are the rest of you. HA HA

3) Last time I checked the IRS, the accountant, or the bank (if you need one) is more concerned about the numbers then your spelling. I’ve never herd of the bank sending out a NSS notice (non sufficient spelling)

Ok I admit I have made my fair share of mistakes……….But one of the biggest has been not getting on to EO sooner. A few lines of text and people get there shorts in a wad. God this is fun!

I believe that the disappearing thread was about a couple hundred trucks being dumped by Fedex along with some office people that were no longer needed. With the current state of the economy it might be a good idea if more carriers started cutting fleet sizes.

I also read the deleted post, and much of it focused on contracts being canceled in this slow period. That's nothing new. In fact, it really makes sense. This is a good time to rid the fleet of under performers, or contractors that are difficult to work with. It's even going on at the very, very tiny carrier that I'm with. Got2go was concerned that contractors with long tenure and good performance records were being axed. That's the part that I question. There has to be more to that part of the story.

I saw the post as a violation, in that he came right out of the box whining.

I read the thread as an observation OF a lady that wuz a fleet owner that allowed her fleet to degenerate over the years by working with associates that increasingly didn't wanna do much good tings. Consequently, the quality of the equipment deteriorated because of revenue shortage and she wuz left with a double whammy, poor performance AND equipment. Additionally she wuz too buzy with the good life, that she forgot to set funds aside for the life after expediting. So... there you have it in the view of the double wizzer. How bout it, am I close?????

There always is a message for the ones that don't wanna, and revere the good life FIRST, an business second.
