the poster was got2go. not our regular contributor by a similar name. this was a first time post, complaining about the carrier. this is a violation of the code of conduct. i did not move it. i am just explaining it.
My post was not complaining, it was an observation of the current state of our industry, along with a few realistic I thought questions about others experiences across our industry. In reviewing my post I fail to see anything other than the trucks getting cut about one company in particular, but I see that this might be a sympathetic site to the carriers. But never the less I’m unwilling to bury my head in the sand and ignore my industries current state. No matter life goes on, and there just might be some really good deals on equipment coming up shortly. Auctions are a great way to expand your rolling stock, low miles and great prices. REPO can you say 25cents on the dollar!
Well the mods might get mad but I look in the 4 sale adds for a good tractor on Expediters and don't really see much.
In any case any of ya looking to get outta the business and want to sell a tractor 2006 or newer with a Detroit 13 speed preferred but will take a 10. IE Freight liner, Pete, KW, Volvo and Id even consider a Reefer Trailer 2006 Carrier or newer. Ya know CA is a big issue here. Got ta be Compliant.
Any way Mods or anyone if you know what I'm looking for

GOT2GO, perhaps you can contact the moderator and allow an edit of the specific carrier. We didn't see it as a complaint either and thought you presented useful information. But for the benefit of the readers, an edited version might be better than none at all.

The activities of this month is normal for most Carriers. Like many sports teams...you keep your top performers and let the rest go. The bar has to be placed somewhere. If someone didn't meet that level, they get the notice. All others problems you mentioned are industry wide and adjustments are reality of the times. It cyclic...like economics 101, corrections come over time and this industry will survive, but with many new faces.

have made people think about the state of there business and there profession. Would you please point out what in my post was untruthful, dishonest, or blatantly offensive. If you can point out any point or comment in my post I would be willing to edit it. I by no mean intended to offend any one in fact I was interested in others point of view. Unlike some others I DO NOT think I have all the answers, and when I have a question I have found that others are willing to help and or discuss issues at hand.

Whether the post is fact or fiction - is not for us to judge. If left without moderation, the result is we would have hundred, if not thousands of single posts members who just simply want to get their frustration out. That is great for them -- but bad for building a strong community.
Quite frankly - we don't want to have a forum filled with one post members. We are committed to have as much information shared as possible - but you have to earn the right to do that.
You have made the right step - first step by joining. Now get involved, share, ask questions and interact with your expediting experiences. After 10 posts - we will accept your post ( as long as it falls within the Code).

I guess I read an observation on the posters part. Nothing vindictive, personnal, didn't even mention it had happened to him. Coulda helped some of the marginal producers in this biz, stay in this biz. By learning what the rules really are.

This forum is worried about losing payed advertisers but they over look lawsuits over freedom of speech rights

lawsuits over Freedom of speech rights? I grant you that you have the right for freedom of speech, but not on a forum that you sign up for and agree to the rules when you sign up. If the forums dictate rules and you agree to them, you break the rules, you can not sue, even for freedom of speech rights.
In the first place, this is a public forum, but isn't. By that I mean, you are able to browse and read the forums without registering, but you can not post until you do register. That is why you are required to register with them and agree to the rules. This has been a common practice with many forums for many years. I for one believe if you don't like the rules, do not register.

egads....read the thousands....no - tens of thousands of posts critical of our advertisers...our company included. Read more of the forums before making that kind of statement...please. Really.

I guess the rules contradict the the explanation of this forum:This general forum covers ALL the topics,subjects and issues of concern to PEOPLE in the expedited trucking industry for a more specific topic please refer to our other forums. But it's plain to see there just being Americans,protect the big guy pizz on the little guy and nothing will ever change.but as you said we all agree with it to post here,maybe there should be an actual open no holds forum for people to vent,I think after a short time you would see some of this venting would create some positive changes in some negative carriers.Word of mouth has allways been the best advertiser. And before you ask,YES I would pay to post rather than be stifled by advertisers. Advertisers are in complete control of EO,why have open forum if it's only open to what may be acceptable to a choice few.And again I know,If I don't like it I don't need to post here,right,that makes it so easy.
Nope, nothing to with advertisers. Again....please read our 10,000...no 20,0000, no 50,000+ posts critical of our advertisers...sheesh. Nothing to do with advertiser's...it's about....our RULES. GASP!

OK, I give,I have read and I have seen, I recently read a post where a fleet owner was trashing tri state and when he realized someone from tri state was reading he coward down like a true American and wellarmed called him on it,I love that guy(wellarmed) he calls them like he sees them.ROFL

The only thing going on here is trying to eliminate people coming in causing a stink never to be heard from again. Simple, make an attempt to be part of the group before slamming a company, product or person. In other words, give us time to know the source, so we can "consider the source". I accepted the terms, you accepted them, so did the noob. As for someone cowaring down, survival may have gotten the best of him. I have toned down my posts a bit as well, but I will still say dispatch can be stuck in stupid and the cat has two mouths at times. My signature identifies me to all at my carrier but it doesnt mean I have to agree with everything they do. I agree with parts and disagree with others, I just dont go off ranting about it. As I have seen many times here, there are warts with all carriers, and I like the warts on the kitty more than the ones on other carriers. Am I cowaring down as well?? Well then paint me yellow but show me the green!! Just a thought
