Number 4 in that list is the problem, this is typical politician and I would rather see someone step up and say "let's try something different ..." - like not taxing our labor.
The thing that gets me is their position of pro-contsititution but won't touch real costly issues like disaster aid or paying for outragious things that have to do with the touchy feely things. For example the 9/11 'first responders' care package from the US government. As much as I want to see them helped and they need a lot of help BUT the federal government should not pay in any way their care. IT is the job of their employers NYC to pay and take care of them, not the Feds. NYC should shift funding from say park care or shut down the Met or what ever to take care of them. This adds another $7.8B to our debt and only shifts the burden away from the source.
