Had a decent short week for an E1 week. Monday ran a Fort Recovery, OH to Holland MI. Tuesday Kalamazoo to Grayslake, il and then Itasca, IL to Greenville Oh. Wednesday a shorty from Dayton to Findly. Came home after that, staying in service but not expecting much to happen. Looking for a good 2011.

Sitting in Bowling Green Ky yesterday got a call for a load out of Grand Rapids that no one in Michigan would take, so dead head up and picked up the load going to Gainesville Ga broke down in Lexington Ky and had to give up the load now waiting for the Sprinter to get fixed in motel watching the Navy football game Go Navy

Sitting at the Starbucks in beautiful, balmy Laredo ..... 'bout 69° degrees with a light wind out of the southeast .... was 77° when I woke up at 20:00 ... :D

Delivered this morning, after picking up Tuesday afternoon in Brantford, ON

Looks like it might be Mexican for Christmas dinner .... :rolleyes:

The Golden Corral there has a great Thanksgiving spread. Don't know if they are open on Xmas but it is worth checking to see.

Salem, Ohio picked up a load going from N. Canton, Ohio to Miami, FL on Monday...gonna enjoy nice and warm weather...as long as it doesn't follow me too far south.;)

There is only one other Bolt van here now - there were two this morning ... so who knows ? - mebbe I'll be rolling over the holiday ....

Just woke up in motel in Lexington Ky Darn it fell asleep during half time of football game last night dont know who won ??? Navy was loosing. waiting for dealer to finish repair on Sprinter

Christmas is my favorite day with my children and grandchildren. Not because of the gifts, they are the gifts to me, but because of the wonder and joy and the celebration of the Birth of Jesus Christ. It is so up lifting to me, the Miracle of Jesus and that God would send his son to the earth for us.

Sorry if this rubs someone the wrong way, but that is what Christmas is to me, The celebration of Jesus' birth. In fact I bake a cake for him and have my grandchildren sing him happy birthday before we can open presents.

It is nothing to be sorry for, I am glad you spoke youre mind and shared youre true feelings about the true meaning of Christmas.Not many will do that,and how many of us really forget the true meaning of Christmas,getting all caught up in the commercialization it has become.Thank you for sharing that with us.

I was blessed with an awesome week after all.I tell you all, when an owner of a company is e-mailing me at 10:00 on a weekday night, apologizing for me sitting, you know you work for an awesome dude! Did 2 great loads, and ended up with the mother of a load, Taylor to Laredo.Awesome, God knows I needed that.Prayer does work, for those who believe and have the faith.I can go on and on about Load One, but the truth of the matter is, no other company even comes close.I am so overwhelmed with this place, the kindness, hardwork,commitment they have shown me.A class act all the way around.

One thing about it, Lexington is better than Grand Rapids or Detroit. Enjoy. Me, I have my palm tree next to the camping machine decorated here at NAS Key West, an jes waiting for the light in the sky tonite. Everyone have a happy Christmas and a merry New Year!!!!!!
