I missed 2 days of not starting mine...and paid the price...oh well...
do you activate { turn the key but not start } the remaining glow plugs 2 or 3 times before turning it over?....Thats what I do...

When I'm not plugged in, that's what I've been doing. After talking with Wayne, looks like I'm going to be down a glow plug until my next van, as the replacement method may do more harm then good

the good thing is...you normally don't get that cold...being down 1 is not a huge issue...you could if it really bothered you bring your gen back out and plug in the van's block heater....I did that when in North Dakota...only to find out the Generator wouldn't run for long in sub arctic temps...

I have considered bringing the generator back out. But at this time would only do it if I added a outside mount for it. Which is another expense I keep saying I won't do with this old van.

But like every other time I keep saying I'm not putting any more money into this van, I end up doing it eventually

Case in point, I just added a microwave, shelf, and another inverted. Thanks to turtle for all his help, as this is not my strong point

Dead headed out of Youngstown, OH Sat. After setting since Thursday morning just gave up, besides the port a potty needed attention. Loaded out of Detroit area this morning for Belvidere, IL. Booked for Moorehead, KY in the morning.
Met up with the infamous Nighttime Vaner in Youngstown, good times! Speaking of, saw that same mug on I-94 today, small world.

Anyone else in western Michigan today? Super windy they say up to 60mph gusts, not sure what an actual reading has been but they feel pretty viloent.
