In a attempt to keep more up to date on fuel expenses, I started using the Let's Truck app. last week. Pretty simple. I like that it also gives you the fuel CPM. Not thrilled with the mileage, but it is winter and has been pretty windy. Also includes use of Espar in the figures.

Got here to Watertown, MA at about midnight, stopped last night at home in Dayton, OH. Avoided most of the weather issues by running 70 to PA Tpk, to 81, 78, 287, 95. Only had wet roads from Carlisle to CT. Got light snow and some slush from southern RI up to Boston.
Relocation to NJ (paid) after I'm empty at 7 am.

You get what you pay for...

Finally got to use my new big bad snow-thrower today.
I figured I'd wait til after the snow storm, make one pass, and be done with it.

Yeah, that plan didn't work out to good.
I realized immediately that I was in trouble. It acted very wimpy from the start.
I think my leaf blower has more power

In all fairness, it probably could handle 3-5 inches of fresh snow. But +12 inches of now wet heart attack snow was way out of its league. Wishing I would have spent more for a 2-stage self propelled one. I'm getting to old to be messing around with this.

Until then, I'll have to use my back up plan ;)

when it comes to snow....go BIG or stay at home......I even whimped out and spent the extra couple hundred bucks for heated handlebars......just over $1000 for the unit....but well worth it especially for a dumping you just got...
