After a little sleep Friday by Chicago, didn't feel like waiting or playing around with a load on the way home so off I went. West side of Michigan on 94 hit white out conditions about 4 times. Hit a small patch of black ice going under a overpass. Just enough to cause a brief oh crap moment  Rest of the trip back to Port Huron was uneventful. Once I passed Flint on 69 didn't see much snow, if any. just a lot of shopping along the way

New additions this weekend to the van will be a Microwave and a 2nd power inverter. Running back and forth using the truck stop microwave was a pain preparing meals, besides Walmart frowned on me using one of theirs :p

Made it home yesterday with dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree. Every color and error codes, plus took a stone in the middle of windshield and had a flat on I-95 in DC at rush hour. Was offended by code PUFF = to much hot air in driver. Truck in shop Monday, check book in hand.

Ahh good question, I didn't even think to look. I got the 1500 powerdrive they sell at the J. Looks likes it's just the modified sine wave :( After pricing the True Sine Wave ones, your right about them being pricey. I guess this one will have to do for now

5 minutes from frozen will take twice that......at least..you just have to allow for that between 1/4's.....LOL

BTW...I would have sold ya my old Cobra 1500 for $25 or the cost of postage.....if it fits it ships,...:p

Baking bread and a warm wood fire! That's how we survive this cold!!!

Got a pork loin roast in the slow cooker since morning. Just love the smell :)
