Lack of traffic enforcement, bottom line in my eyes.
We properly have a whole generation of drivers that don't know you can receive a ticket for tailgating. We properly have 2 generations of cops that no longer enforce it. Then we have a while bunch of drivers that could care less about anybody but themselves.
Stay away from the pack in any road conditions, wet or dry or else when something goes wrong, your going in also. Keep a safe distance and ta may have a chance.
I just love when I am passing a semi, I am in the left lane, some arse is riding my bumper so I keep an eye on my left mirror to prepare to move over when I am safely past the truck BUT before I can move to the right, the arse behind me cuts in behind me and passes me on the right.

Sounds like an ongoing problem that really needs to get solved. Sorry to hear that.
Those are the types you give a pretty good brake check to.....amazing how quick most of them learn.
I hear you on that, these morons are so impatient they can't wait for a safe distance to open up between you and the truck you just passed, they have to fly around.
People like that think that every other car on the road was just put there to be in their way.
