I would like to thank everyone for their kind posts, am at the house getting ready for tomorrow, we hope to be back out on the road by the end of the week.

umm panther art didnt you just post about sitting for too long or did you take moose's advice

I said I have been here all weekend not all week. And no I take no one's advise out here been with the cats for almost 8 yrs now and been all 48 states. Was in CA last week moved over to here and the last time I was in El Paso I was there for 12 days and seen vans come and go until Sean got me loaded. Will get loaded from here by WED.

Landstar outsources alot of van loads out of Ontario, Ca, just south of the T/A'S, at Lucent Technologies,they are light, and usually have good miles to them.

12 days? No comment.Being as how I am in a cargo van, It was strongly sugested to me to stay east of the miss,which I have done, and it is working out wonderful!!Stay in the freight lanes.

Over here in lagrange,Ill. My load got pregnant between Saturday and the pickup time this morning,from 1 skid to 14 full-size skids.So I ordered my gas-pedal assembly and it will be in in the morning.I'll put that on, and have no more unexpected periods of the gas pedal going dead while driving.And then go back into service as soon as I put that on.

Last winter I watched, mainly two groups of motorist, just piling up in the median strips and ditches. Those groups were people with 4 wheel drive and 18 wheelers. It seems that, more and more, those two groups just think that they can drive 70 just because the sign says that they can. Then they blow by me as I do 30mph and a mile or so up the road, there they are, WRECKED!!! I like to call it poetic justice!!

We had a terrible situation here in Fort Wayne this morning, snow started falling about 6:30 and quickly turned the road into an ice rink, 2 jack knifed semi's 5 or 6 roll overs and a couple dozen slideoff's. It's like everyone forgets how to drive in the first snow fall. Meanwhile i was creeping along 469 going 30 to 35 letting the idiots pass me doing 70, I'll wave at them in the ditch when I pass them:rolleyes: I drive as fast as I feel is safe and let the idiots honk and pass me.

Got one!:D Pickin up in New Librea LA going to Brooklyn NY hope to get in and back out will lay over in Jersey at one of the Travel Centers. Not paying to bad either!

no rest for the wicked....loading out of West Bend Wisc in 90 minutes, heading straight through to McConnellsburg PA...deliver tommorrow afternoon....seeya....is it warmer in Pa then in Wisc right now!?!?

Believe it or not, I got one of my best van loads out of little rock. Nobody likes to sit there, but I have never sat more than a day and I got out with good loads.
Oh, sorry, one time I sat more than a day. Delivered on Friday, and Sunday I got one to South Carolina.

Empty in McConnellsburg Pa..... DH'd to the I-81 Pilot in Hagerstown MD and went out of service to get some sleep....seeya:eek:
