Del to Baton Rouge LA early Thursday after drop took a short run to Lafayette area and dropped the same evening now just waiting for a load hopefully Monday.

We delivered in Dayton, TN this morning. Now sitting in Soddy Daisy, TN with a load out of here tomorrow, heading for Spartanburg, SC. Not a great run, BUT, it keeps us OUT of the nasty weather in the center of the country!!

Leaving Chicago early this afternoon for Detroit after spending half the weekend sitting (not a huge run either) It will get me out of here with a winter storm warning posted for Chicago starting tomorrow night.
Local weather man saying up to a ft of snow with sleet,I wont be coming back till it blows thru.

So do I Piper1. It is NOT a big deal, EXCEPT, it does seem that these days there are MANY out there who have NO idea that you just have to SLOW DOWN!!!!
Last winter I watched, mainly two groups of motorist, just piling up in the median strips and ditches. Those groups were people with 4 wheel drive and 18 wheelers. It seems that, more and more, those two groups just think that they can drive 70 just because the sign says that they can. Then they blow by me as I do 30mph and a mile or so up the road, there they are, WRECKED!!! I like to call it poetic justice!!

Got into toledo Sat AM and went home..(wife said don't bring that laptop in the house when you come home anymore, or just stay in the van, something about not paying enough attention to what she has to say when i am at home and online, i don't know, i was online when she said it ) so i didn't have the computer all weekend..anyhow i dropped this morning and am now waitting to transfer a load to my van from a wrecked van and then heading to Oshkosh and the cold of wisc.....

yup. here is the unprotected look.
cast is supposed to go on tomorrow. just got the call....please arive early(yeah please hold ff the 5-9" of snow predicted). gracie took a tumble at chipotle(no free wifi) last friday. broke the ulna bone. got an attorney appointment for consultation sched for tomorrow pm or wed. chips insurer sent forms and initially said yes to covering er costs and loss of pay but....
lst nite the bath tub stopped draining, waiting for a plumber and maybe a new bathtub. this really is....the december to remember.
YES IT IS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then they often look at you as you pass by, kinda pathetic, like they expect you to feel sorry for them or something.

Sitting at the J in Eroy, AZ been number 1 all week-end talked to the folks at the cat nothing in sight for today. I think my days with the cat are just about to end.

del fri afternoon an decided to call it a week
got like a mile from my house and got a beep
wyoming,mi to las vegas,nv spent the nite at home picked up at 11am sat morn and was here in vegas at 10pm last nite
3400 paid miles in 6 days not bad
any advice on vegas for cv loads?? dont wanna go north cause of the snow storms and dont wanna venture out to the california/LA scene yet. So should I sit here and wait or start headed east into Arizona and New Mexico
