we did a short one,now close to davenport or chicago. was a little snowy in western wi. things have been slow, bout ready to call it a year in about a week. ready for the holidays!¡!!!!!¡

Stopped by safety and turned in maintenance report and updated authority pack. While there another driver was asking where to place a decal and was told under his ifta....
I smiled and said I didn't want anyone messing with my ifta, that's just nasty. Got some good morning laughs.

I've had that happen to me, as well as doing it to others, un-intentionally.It's just the name of the game! I don't think others are stalking each other, lurking in the truck stops, so to speak....lol..

you know guido, there are actually some that think that. some think drivers go up to dispatch and say, so in so is runnig good. why am i not running good and when the ones that are running good hit a slow spot they think that is why. never bought into myself. the getting bumped thing happens although i would like to think friends dont do it intentionally and only when geography makes it happen. as in when there is no other place to go.

I think it is kind of funny when people think we have the ability to control what freight is called in, what size it is, and where it is going all over the country. Expedite = legalized gambling, lol.

Based on our system, the way that we make the most money is when the trucks are loaded and making the most money.....

Ya know, not too long ago, I relocated to Wytheville. I bumped Ziggy back one.Not intentionally, unless it was OVM there, mind you.....lol.. But Ziggi got out before me because he was something like 30 miles closer to the pickup, which was close on travel time to begin with. completely understandable.I later got a load as well. Ziggi and I talked about it, as we were not mad at all with any of it, but laughing and joking about it,,and agreed it happened for good reasons, no harm done. It's just the way the ball bounces sometimes. It's nice to know we can work together like that.
