Don't everyone get mad,she wanted controvercy and I thought that would do it and I'm sure some are sitting back right now saying,"WHO THE HECK DOES HE THINK HE IS". And yes I enjoy the tea also.
Who's the hottest news reading babe on Fox News?
I vote for Megyn Kelly.
DUH, Sure must be a WHOLE bunch of city people in here with NO real world smarts. Geese fly in a "V" formation for conservation of energy. They often fly extreme distances without stopping. They learned how to "Draft" long before NASCAR even exsisted. The "Lead" goose in the "V" breaks the air down and the other fall into place "Drafting" off the lead birds efforts. They switch of often so one goose does not get over tired. The length of the arms are determined by the number of birds. The longer arm often is indicitive of the best drafting conditions. One goose sub-species, the Pacific Brant is known to fly non-stop from thier fall staging waters near Ancorage AK to the wintering grounds in Bajha Mexico. A flight over over 2000 mi at a crusing speed of 50mph. Layoutshooter
Now heres the real question:
Landing strip or smooth as silk?
For me Doug, thats a no brainer. A runway of course! In fact I have a photo of it to share below.
there's a fine line between fishing and just standing by a lake like an idiot.
Who sang my generation
Is that a crack or your artificial horizon?
Well Rocket, it's like this. 1. I study the game that I hunt. The more you know the better you are at filling your freezer. 2. I hunt and associate with several waterfowl biologists. When I am around them I as questions, then I get answers and learn even more. 3. I have hunted in England, Japan, Michigan, Florida, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia. 4. I have guided deer, duck, goose and grouse hunts in several states and guided trout and salmon Fly fishing fishing trips in Michigan and New York. 5. I was a Product Specialist with Cabela's when it was still a managment position. There was a very extensive test to pass for the position. I did not do as well as I hoped, I missed 3 questions out of the 150. I knew very little about horse tack.
As with everything that I do I try to do my best at it and that includes hours of study. I enjoy learning about waterfowl, they are amazing. Look for books by author and waterfowl photographer Worth Mathewson. He hunted with us when we did the Gander Mountain TV show called We Live Outdoors. He was working on a book about local hunting methods and wanted to see how we hunted. He is an expert on Pacific Brant.
Anything else? layoutshooter
No, that's quite enough. I was responding to the last sentence at the bottom of the post. "Who sang my generation" It's a question and a statement. I guess you didn't get that.....I didn't even look at the other part.
I have never got to see a Pacific Brant but have taken a few Atlantic Brant. They sometimes stray into the Great Lakes and we get them in Michigan waters of Lake Erie. We took one when we did the Gander TV show. Layoutshooter
