Well, they were already looking at options for their yellow fleet. E-1 had to cut their rates to attract them. Until now, the rates were just too good.

Oh sure, those who stay behind will be busy after they lose 25-50% of their fleet. I am heading home cause I need to get drunk this weekend. ;)

Too bad you'er not close by. Have some Apple Pie moonshine, corn whisky, and home made Muscadine wine. Sorry all out of home brew beer.

" Maybe they will give them a penny raise next month and act like it is the second coming."

That would be the "third coming". Obama is already here!

The profits are on the brokering side. Wouldn't be surprised to learn they are increasing head count on that side of the business at the same time.

Told it was a problem that has been corrected. Should be paid Monday.

To be fair when we were with E1 there was never a problem getting paid so am hoping that continues for you. But when it comes to money...I've always paid attention...*lol*

I guess that can happen. I have seen it happen once or twice over my working years. It sure sucks when it does happen though.

I've seen it happen as well. I think it is happing once per month now. Something that is this important, you would think that someone would make sure the settlements are sent, not after the fact. If the pay is set to send at a time, then someone needs to make sure it is sent at that time. If it is not sent, force send. We program computers not the other way around. It seems no one monitors this until they come in Friday morning.

"It appears the settlements have been reprocessed" per Joe Stevens

Oh, and they also screwed up our 1099's.

Steps are being taken to correct these problems. The first step would be to make sure you don't have to take a step.

Once in a blue moon is to be expected, other than that there is something else wrong.

In my over 40 years in the work force I have had it happen maybe 3 or 4 times.

Once was a LONG mess up. The Army goobbered up my pay when I came back from Japan. I did not get paid for 3 months. That REALLY was tough. Ate a LOT of lobster and catfish during that time. Could not afford much else.
