To save myself from what seemed like a ramble of the same ol' argument, I decided to just comment. LOL

As an avid football fan AND constitutionalist, I prefer to keep those two separate. I also like a good ribeye AND blueberry cheesecake; however, I don't mix the two when eating. That would ruin two good things.

When I sit down to watch football, with this year's SB having the Seahawks in it *snicker*, I'd rather not get my political juices flowing because the NFL decided to put on a politically injected commercial... REGARDLESS if I agree with it or not. If you want this gun commercial, you're essentially saying it's ok to put up an Obama-worshipping commercial, that states that "98% of you have voted Obama as being the greatest president in the history of the country." Now I know Leo and LOS don't want that, right? And I know that they are 100% for 100% of the Constitution, right? So give the NFL a little slack here, for keeping entertainment within entertainment, and not souring my enjoyment of the game by tweaking brain cells I don't want to use at that time. It takes away from the reason most of us watch the game... ie, the game.

First off, we ARE bombarded with Obama worshipping commercials, on a daily basis. They put up TONS of lies about HealthCare.gov, even during football games. In the mean time I will be forced to endure some of the more disgusting commercials that they show now. The MUTE button is one of my favorite buttons. There are many who are offended by MANY of the commercials that the NFL, and every other show, airs. Why is it they have no problem offending us? If they continues to degrade, I will shut them off. Just as I have just about shut off hockey due to the degredation of the product it self.

Second off, the ONLY thing I said about not airing this is I believe it is bad marketing. I never said that they should be FORCED to do anything.

one can only state thier opinion so many times on a topic....and then it becomes useless....this thread is at that point....you are only picking at each other now...

I thought that is what the Soapbox was for. :p I did not think I was picking on anyone. I did not feel picked on by anyone, today at least.

But I am bored, what else am I to do? :confused::p I am tired of looking at health care plans, my BP meds are NOT keeping up with that mess. I gotta do SOMETHING!

In your ear with a can of beer! My wheel polish is FROZEN. So is the marina. I STILL cannot find a way to get the ice out of my boat. Sex is outlawed in 2015 under Obama Care, unless you are unmarried and on welfare. Nothing left.

Well first, if they air 98% anything about Obama other than perhaps the amount of his brain that's defective they'll be in violation of false advertising regulations. Yes, I do believe they have the choice of airing or not airing what they choose, some to a lot of which offends in one way or another. When their choice counters one of our rights, whether personal defense or free speech or whatever, that's when it becomes the current situation and they are to be shunned. If they refuse advertising for driving, drinking, gaming, travel or whatever that's different because those are privileges not rights. They are completely optional and their option has just run out.

The term "Fedex guy" is demeaning. I am highly offended. I don't work for Fedex either. I am self employed and the truck that I own is leased to Fedex. ONLY employees of Fedex work for Fedex. I am offended more now. :cool: If I worked for Fedex I would be punching a time clock, which I have NOT done since 1976. Only slaves punch time clocks. :eek: (I am REALLY bored, ticked off too, working on the health insurance crap. I have a REALLY bad taste in my mouth from that one. I have been writing "poison pen emails" today to everyone I can think of)
