Why am I a fan of Pres. Obama? Because he's not an embarrassment to the world the way his predecessor was. Because I do feel hope when he speaks of this country. Because of his determination to do what he thinks is best for everyone in this country whether you like his policies or not. Because he won't be swayed by a poll on whether he can be re-elected or not to make the decisions that have to be made. I personally think nationwide health care is what this country needs. If other countries can do it, why not us? I believe he's right when the rich should pay more in taxes than they do. Truck drivers are far from being rich, and your personal income is FAR less than would be taxed. I believe you would reap the benefit of the burden being lifted a little more from your shoulders. He said he would get Bin Laden and he did. He sent the NAVY SEALS in to kill the Somalian Pirates who kidnapped one of our U.S. captains. He promised to pull troops out of two wars and he's doing just that. I could go on and on but I won't. You may not agree with everything or anything that he does, but you have to admit he's keeping the majority of his campaign promises. I find it more amazing that people elected this man on the basis of these promises-on the basis of change, and when change starts to come, they start complaining. We are a country of instant technology. The fact that you can blog like this is an example. We want everything RIGHT NOW!! If there's a problem you want it solved now. No one has any patience. With the opposition the Pres. is up against, it's amazing he can get anything accomplished. Pres. Obama? You're doing alright!!
Does what he feels is best for the country?really Its funny you talk about the seals!As the bodys of a seal team were being brought home the pentagon ordered no camera to be allowed Due to the request of family members who did not want pics taken.Obama ever the opportunist decides he dont care what the family members want he see's a photo op. and brings his own photographer.Even after backlash from the family members the picture remains up on the white house website.Yep he cares about whats good and right for americans.Wanna bet that picture ends up on the cover of a magazine as the election draws close?I bet Time or Life.
as far as promises go.He promised to end the war in Iraq within his first 16 months if elected.Promise broken.Did he start pulling troops out yep however many of them were pulled out of one war zone and sent to afganstanian.Then after taking office he told congress he was going to pull all US combat troops out by August of 2010.Yet our men and women are still being killed in Iraq sure seems like the combat is still going on over there.
So this year Obama says he is going to start bringing troops home from Afganstanian,10 thousand this year and 20 thousand next year.So he waits over 2 years to start bringing troops homeWith most of them being brought home during an election year.Yep he is doing whats right for america not whats best for him.
Now lets talk about those 30,000 troops he says he is going to bring home.You see he promised to bring home troops if elected,yet he is not really.The number of troops he is bringing home is the number HE HIMSEF ORDERED OVER THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE.So he fails on that promise also.Now if you really look you will see these are not my feelings they are facts.
Embarrassment the man does nothing that has anything to do with the rest of the world with out seeing what NATO is doing first.I belive the rest of the world see's him as the very weak leader he is.Heck his own people are starting to see him as weak and many are even starting to call him out on it."His own people" bet you are thinking I mean black right?Because all republicans are racist and what else could it mean?DEMOCRATS.Really why do you think he has lost so many of his key people in just 2 1/2 years?
Obamacare.Who do you think stands to benifit the most?Hate to break it to you but that would be Insurance companies.You see the left loves to throw around that insurance companies can no longer deny you because of a pre-existing condition.and that is great it really is.How ever what Obama and the rest of the left dont say is that the IC can charge you what ever they want for a premium every month.Also if health care really is so important to Obama why has there been thousands of waivers granted to big companys?He is all about protecting medicare yet Obamacare cuts 500 billion from it.The best part While running he promised that the American people would have five days to review any bill put befor congress befor it was voted on yet that did not happen with Obamacare did it?What was it nancy peloci said "we need to pass this healthcare bill so we can find out whats in it".Promise broken!
Taxs as we seen with Obamacare Obama and the democrats could have raised taxs if they really wanted to.I say really wanted to because I have looked at how the vote record in the house and the senate went to extend the bush tax cuts.Because in the House and the Senate more democrats voted to extend them then republicans did.Then Obama signed it.
You see no the founding fathers did not want a king.However they did set it up so congress would have a leader.And Obama is no leader.
