Armstrong Vs. Obama

Here is a PARTIAL list of Neil Armstrong's accomplishments by age 38:

* Armstrong grew up in Ohio with a strong interest in flight and earned his pilot's license while still a boy.

* After flying combat missions during the Korean War, he became a test pilot and joined NASA's astronaut program in 1962.

* As he stepped on the moon's dusty surface, Armstrong said: "“That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind."

* Armstrong's pulse was measured at 150 beats per minute as he guided the lunar lander to the moon's surface, NASA said. Asked about his experience on the moon, he told CBS: "It's an interesting place to be. I recommend it."

He put his life on the line for his Country on MULTIPLE occasions and served with honor and distinction.

Obama's accomplishments by age 38

Did a lot of underage drinking. Smoked dope. Hung around with Anti-Americans and went to school, a lot of which he cannot remember because, by his own account, he was too wasted to remember. That is if he ever even went to school, no proof of it.

Looks like the wrong person was elected. Should have elected the MAN.

The difference is that Obama was in no way, shape or form prepared to handle the kind of responsibilities of the job he is in. He had ZERO preparation. Armstrong, on the other hand, had nothing but experiences that would enable him to handle the job. One is a leader and the other a total joke. You are right, lassie would have made a better president than Obama.

Not as dumb as Obama being president.

It was meant to point the difference between a MAN who has the kind of life experience that would allow him to handle pressure and a child who does not. It is a SHAME we don't have the Armstrong type running this time. Instead we have Cheech and Chong, just a couple of comedians. MORE proof of what a joke our politicians have become.

Lassie, or any of to corpses of the dogs who played Lassie, would do a better job as president than the microbe we have now.

And your still wasting your vote it makes no sense to me at all. I just cannot wrap my mind around that fact. You detest Obama, gun rights are one of your biggest things. I just don't get it.

I detest Romney's record on gun rights. I detest his flip flopping around like a fresh caught bluegill on a hot sidewalk.

You and I will never agree on this one point. I consider it to NOT be wasting my vote. I don't want to vote for evil, lessor or greater. You can do what ever you like. It is YOUR choice. Have at it.

I never said there was NO difference, I said there was less than $.30 difference. Romney's record on court appointments is not very good. LOTS of liberal, anti gun types. Romney's political record sucks. Obama's sucks a little more. There are few choices on Romney and guns. He is against 2ND amendment rights, OR, he is lying about being in favor of them. I go by actions, not speeches..

I am not ridiculing your beliefs. They are based you what you see. I see different. Evil is evil, one just a tad less evil, or better at hiding it, than the other.

If Romney wants my vote he can call me any time and try to convince me. I don't trust his politics.

Usually it's a dead giveaway that I'm posting using the Droid. But in this case, it's because I'm multitasking more than normal, trying to find a new source for Shell ATF 134 since RyderFleetProducts apparently no longer carriers it, and also contemplating the very real possibility that my turbo is going out and will need to be replaced.

This list is similar to what Brisco posted a few days ago. If you think there isn't much difference ask yourself if Romney would have done any of the "firsts" Obama has done. There is a big difference.

I am not ignoring them, I just believe that his rotten political record outweighs them.

You call him, have him call me and let him convince me.

I am NOT required to like him! I am NOT going to tell you to do ANYTHING but vote as you see best. I expect the same respect.
