Arizona shooting victim makes death threat

Fox News is now reporting one of last week's shooting victims in Arizona, Eric Fuller, has been arrested for uttering a death threat during a televised townhall meeting. Seems the intended recipient of the threat is a Tea Party organizer. It was further reported Mr. Fuller has been referred for a mental evaluation.

Here's a story posted 24 hours ago about comments he made 48 hours ago.

Tucson Survivor Blames Shooting On Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Sharron Angle (VIDEO)

And then today he threatened a Tea Party member with the words "You're Dead".

Shooting Victim Threatens Tea Partier

Why I am just now hearing about this here???

I mean, it wasn't 2-3 hours after the shootings when I started hearing that Republicans were responsible for the deaths on ALL the news outlets, but here now is a Democrat making threats against Tea Party members and I knew nothing about it until it was brought up here and I had to find the information on my own.

HHmmm..........biased media??? Couldn't be possible, could it??

The Tea party and Christians are fair game. Only liberals and leftists are protected.

I'll say that I am surprised that one of the articles linked was from Huff Po. Time will tell how the MSM will handle this story but it does make ya wonder what the old sheriff has to say about rhetoric now.......

It won't be long until the left starts openly killing those who oppose them. The left has done that everywhere in the world they take over. Nothing new here.

I guess it will be difficult for at least ONE of the MSM networks to ignore this incident. It actually happened while they were taping for their SUNDAY MORNING SHOW.....

You just know that Christiane Amanpour will report just as she has for years.

Christiane Amanpour said:
"There are some situations one simply cannot be neutral about, because when you are neutral you are an accomplice. Objectivity doesn't mean treating all sides equally. It means giving each side a hearing.
Once she gets done giving her hearing, she will have the show edited to paint whatever picture she wants to paint.

Now there is a race issue;

From the AP -
The son of Martin Luther King Jr. says the recent shootings in Arizona that killed six and left a congresswoman critically wounded shows the work of his father must continue.

What work? Didn't we forget the true meaning of all of his work and allow it to be hijacked for political and monetary gain?

BUT it gets better ...

ATLANTA (AP) — The widow of the late Massachusetts Sen. Edward Kennedy will accept a posthumous award from the King Center recognizing her husband's work for civil rights.

The only things that "Uncle Teddy" worked on was drinking, womanizing and killing babies and a woman. What a scum bag.

If MLK's son is talking about his father's emphasis on PEACEFUL dealings with one another, it has nothing to do with what happened in Tuscon.....it's a MENTAL HEALTH issue more than anything else, regardless of what those on the left want to believe or want to make it.

You're right in that his legacy has been hijacked for both political gain and racial divide, presented by the racial "pimps" that do not want peace among the citizenship. Sad when you remember that one of the two biggest offenders of this was there with him, worked with him, marched with him. Jesse Jackson was with him the day he died and yet continues to twist the message for his own financial gain.

Just watched an update on Eric Fuller. He was charged with threatening and disorderly conduct. The deputy sheriff being interviewed indicated Fuller was now hospitalized on a 72-hour psychiatric hold. Best bet is he will be given a slight slap on the wrist and be sent home. Making a direct threat on a Tea Party member's life will elevate Fuller's standing among his peers.

Yeah, just like Vick's time in prison raised his status in "thugville"

“It looks like Palin, Beck, Sharron Angle and the rest got their first target. Their wish for Second Amendment activism has been fulfilled.” – Eric Fuller, Tuscon shooting victim, the day before the Town Hall Meeting.

[Seems a little on the idiot side, to me.]

Towards the end of an otherwise thoughtful town hall, there was a single incident: James Eric Fuller, who was shot at the Safeway last week, allegedly made a threatening comment to another audience member, Tucson Tea Party co-founder Trent Humphries. It is unclear whether Humphries heard Fuller and the two never engaged. According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, Fuller used a cell phone to take a picture of Humphries and allegedly said, “You’re dead.”

[He shot Humphries with a camera and said, "You're dead." Now he's moved past idiot, and on into crazy territory.]

[Fuller, 63, is a military veteran. Who was shot with a gun and didn't die, but shot someone with a camera and thinks they are. Oh, Kaye.]

Fifteen seconds after the conclusion of the town hall, law enforcement officials approached Fuller and led him to a side entrance. A moment later, Fuller could heard yelling, “What’s the matter–with you–:censoredsign:s!”

[How to Win Friends and Influence Law Enforcement Officials, by Eric Fuller. Available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.]

Fuller was charged with disorderly conduct and threatening and intimidation and taken to a local mental health facility.

[But he's feeling much better, now.]

Well Diva, if it is a mental health issue, then where is that line drawn between the person's rights and the right of the public?

I mean with the number of cases that have popped up in the last 15 years where judges have pretty much told the public at large "too bad, the patient has rights" and released dangerous people, there is no more of a need to change back to what we had in the past than those crimes against people in NYC and Boston where mentally deranged people have pushed people, including kids and elderly on to subway tracks or in front of moving traffic.

The one thing I find disturbing is this call for gun control and the need to limit access to firearms by the mentally ill. In this case he wasn't deemed mentally ill but on the other hand this is where my support for a database to be checked when a purchase is made comes into the scene.

See the one thing that we should be very careful is how we approach this issue. We can either take the approach that a lot of people seem to think is the right thing, allowing a college and the parents to make decisions for an adult or the one I think is better, we should strengthen our mental health system back to the place it was where those who needed help and were deemed a threat were placed in an institution for care. The college in this case has no business running to the parents, the college should not have been so "afraid" to insist on the law enforcement to do their job but when you come down to it, it is the sheriff and his people who dropped the ball but only a few are calling this as they see it.
