New guys [that's generic, I know one of them isn't a guy, but around here, we're all 'one of the guys', lol]: what John said about the QC order of trucks is spot on. When I dropped off my new med card [because I always like to grab a fresh log when I'm around], I was 7 of 7 lg straights. 2 hrs later, got a nice run to Ky.
Well, the miles were nice - the weather just sucks! It rained at pickup in Mi, rained so hard in Indy I could barely see, and it's STILL raining in Hopkinsville.
On a more cheerful note: the laundromat on Eureka @ Inkster is a pretty good one, if you have a backlog, like I always do.

Got one out of Lapeer, MI that took me home in Ohio. There are people here, but they won't unload me until the AM. Ran through crappy weather all the way here, and it looks like its going to rain most of the night.

That is a rather surprising move. As a former driver there that is not a place I would choose. I wish them the best.
Yeah, I can understand diversifying..but to switch all would be quite a leap of faith. They must have had quite a sales pitch.
