That right there is why I don't call and bother them. They're understaffed, overworked and underpaid.

Sorry about the luck Chris. Sounds like a tow bill in the works?

Im at the yard...looks like the bob-tails finally won out and took over the parking area where we usually sit. Out front is good on the weekends anyway.

Chris, if you have Progressive Ins thru CIS, then you have the roadside assistance program, which will give you a free tow to the nearest authorised dealership. That's we got a free 80 mile tow when our tranny went a few months ago.

Nick, whats the limit for the free tows? 1 per year or ? That was enough to pay for a good portion of your premium.

I need to give CIS a call myself. I have always liked Progressive insurance.

I don't know for sure if there is a limit or not. It is stated as "free roadside assistance and towing to the nearest authorized repair facility"

Our premium is $40 more per year at CIS. That is due to our age. But the deductibles are only $100/$500 vs the $500/$1000. $100 glass, free chips, and the roadside package. The tow for the transmission would have been equivalent to 5 years of the additional insurance cost. Well worth it in my opinion.

Letting Jeremy know your willing to move somewhere he has been seeing freight can actually assist him in making you and the company more money.

This is true. There are many times that a bit of information could be productive for all involved. Ive been poking and prodding on that a little bit with a certain person...lol. :D

Jeremy is on the Truckload side and we are not his primary concern..he will look at us if he needs to, not not as his 1st option.Calling him on Sat is not a problem, just call directly to the Truckload side instead of going to the expedite side...And yes, letting him know where you are or where he might need you is a good thing as most of his loads pay very well....
