At home. I broke down (not the truck) a few days ago. Feels like I busted a lung or something. Not really. Just some kind of cold and cough that I thought I would get over quickly, but it did not happen like I thought. Then I decided to stay home and rest a lot and get ready for going out again.

Hey Dennis, my wife and I just spent several days on a beach vacation. Love the time off with family and we plan to go again in July. Still, I am always anxious to get back to work. Expediting is FUN!!!

how did you do that?

I have heard that is not uncommon with sprinters. Had no warning signs, just a forty lb load. Got fuel and turned on the on ramp to get back in the interstate, wasn't even accelerating hard them all the sudden nothing, no forward reverse anything just a sort of grinding noise. I thought maybe it was the rear end. I told a friend about it rolling even in park and they said it's the axle. Turned out to be true.

What year and how many miles on the Sprinter?

Where did you get it replaced and how much did it cost?

Thanks.

It's an 07 about 270,000 on the odometer. Being fixed at a dodge dealer in Hendersonville, NC. It was the only place I could find around Asheville that worked on them. Gonna be about a grand to replace. What amazed me was the tow truck was only 100 bucks for about 30 miles.

Red Roof Inn in Asheville gives a pretty good discount for CLC card holders
