Ok...this week sucked. Had a load go from Columbus, Ohio to Smyrna, Tn for 388. Then had a load from Gordonsville, Tn to Louisville, KY for 179. Now I have a load going from Hebron, Ky to Madisonville, KY for 243. This week hath sucked big time. Not to mention I'll prob have to dh out of Madisonville to somewhere...who knows where since all the boards are inundated with cargo vans.

Had an awesome week, too many loaded miles with too little emppty miles to type. What impressed me the most was unloading in Jacksonville, Fla Friday morning and 3 hours later loaded in Orlando, going to Detroit for Monday morning!! Way to go All-State dispatch !!!Too jacked up on Red Bull at the moment, jamming out to The Bee-Gees live, then K.C and the Sunshine band, then George Thorogood and the Destroyers, having too much fun !! Stopped in Jackson, Ga to get some of that Wilco 45 cetane fuel, get online and pay some bills, pee, make a sandwich, etc...

Up date...2 separate accidents on the northbound side with all lanes blocked is keeping me from leaving here at the moment..one at the 205 and 1 at the 217.

Well I have done 3100 miles in 10 days so far and I am very impressed with what Bolt Express has done for me. I am averaging right around 80 cents per loaded mile and my Empty miles have been relatively low. I have done some repositioning on my own dime in order to place myself into better freight lanes, but it has not been as much as I used to do when I was with the big cats. I don't have to drive hundreds or even thousands of miles to distance myself from a glut of company trucks that are ahead of me on the boards.

I also enjoy the fact that Bolt Express does not force me to sit where there are no truck stops in order to be logged into some computer generated express center...I can sit down in Lake Station Indiana and still be dispatched on a load picking up in Chicago or even other destinations in Indiana. I am so far very happy with my carrier and I am glad I decided to come back out on the road and give this gig another shot.

PS. I don't have to wait on hold for 45 minutes at a time when I call into load planning or dispatch!!! This alone makes my move to Bolt worth my time and effort. Be safe out there and I will keep y'all updated on my adventures with Bolt.

Did you get that load from Minneapolis? I missed a bid in Minneapolis when I was up there this Thursday!

As my dearest buddy Eddie pointed out...
after driving 1700 miles for nothing thanks to my own screw up,
forgot to get my DOT check up done...

I've done absolutely nothing all week...*LOL*:D
