Why do you even go there to begin with? Everytime you go there, there are always a slew of vans there, which would tell me to stay away from that area to begin with..unless sitting is your thing.

At home since a week ago yesterday, just installed my new (used) passenger door, and now into troubleshooting my power mirrors - it's probably a fuse panel issue, as a consequence of the power taps used when they installed the Qualcomm.
Will pull the tires and wheels off tomorrow, once it warms up a bit and then have the tires removed so I can take the wheels in to have them powder-coated. Then new tires and an alignment.
I'll check out the tie-rod ends and all front steering/suspension bushings and replace as required. Also the front and rear brakes - fronts should be good, but the rears have 271K miles on them ..... so they might need changed.
I also have to replace the little electric Bosch coolant pump .... I managed to pick up a used one for $20 (better than $200 at Europarts, or $300+ at the dealer)
The gearbox in the lifting mechanism for my roof vent/fan (MaxxFan) is stripped out and I called the folks at MaxxAir to enquire about getting one and the nice lady I spoke to said (after I gave her the serial no.) she would send another one out (for free ! ...... they even picked up the postage)

Seriously, my wife (who can be somewhat scatter-brained at times
) backed into it, here in the driveway, with my sons GMC Savanna 3500, one morning as she was leaving for work .... (of course, the Savanna was virtually unscathed ... )Pushed in the sheetmetal a good 3 inches or so right in the lower center .... and bent out the trailing door edge from the body an inch or so ..... bodyshop that looked at said it was so bad that it would be better just to replace the door, as the amount of time they would have in fixing it would probably pay for the door .....
Of course that was before I told 'em that Dodge wants about $1500 for the door
(guy almost crapped himself)It's odd .... because the drivers door is only around $500 for new metal from the dealer ..... and the doors are a mirror image of each other .... probably an availability thing .....

We are now at the TA East in Ontario, CA. It sucks as always. There is a FDCC convention in the Los Angles area again. I never learn. Wonder how long we will be here this time?

I messed up and took a REALLY stupid load. Have to run out to Tempe, AZ to get it. I read wrong, missed some info. Now we are tied up for the week for little money, what an idiot.

Whew!! I did something that I hate but had them take us off this one. I really meant to turn it down. I have to be home no later than the 25th. This one did not finish up until the 18th.
I can't miss this doctors appointments. They are very hard to get. Surgery (minor) on my right eyelid and tear ducts. It is getting hard to see at night. The eye swells shut. This is due to an old army problem. It won't make me any more cute, that is not possible!!

Oh I hope not. We will be out for two weeks for the recovery and follow up appointments. That is why I wanted out of this, I need more time to get off this coast! Man, I really should have turned this one down and not even came out here. I have been messing up a lot of late. Sort of having "swarm" senior moments.
