Larry said: "Perfection ended in the 60s when the bras were burned." Well not really Larry, when the bras were burned we could then see if they were really perfect.;0>

    co driver info

Since no one has all of the details it is not the wisest thing for me to try and interpret what he meant, but here goes. 1000 mile load paying $1,200.00 driver "A" gets $250.00. Driver "B" gets $250.00. Total pay to drivers $500.00 that comes to around 41.6%. Again I ask where is the low pay IF...

    co driver info

IF he was on a 40/60 split then I still think that part of the pay is average. 20% of $1.20 is 24 cents 20% of $1.40 is 28 cents 20% of $1.45 is 29 cents Where is the low pay?

Pelicn Said: And if the pay per mile is more than 1.25 for loaded miles, and he's still only getting .25-.30 a mile? He said he would be teaming with the owner of the truck, so it still sounds cheap to me. And no mention of other "pays" I thought he said that he would drive with another...

25 to 30 cents all paid miles is in line with with pay for the paid miles part, But Pelicn said you need to know about the empty move and deadhead miles. Also what the pay is for the other things like detention, stop-off, border crossing, hand unload, etc.

    no more FSC...oh my gawd

I don't care how the money is broken down, it's the amount that goes to the truck that matters. I agree with Leo 61% of $2.00 is not enough. But I disagree with Leo about what the company makes, if the contract calls for me to get 61%, I want what the end customer paid. I don't like it going...

    Survey Says

I don't really want a job at the IRS, but would like to know what the break down is for loaded miles. That would show a little more. Some people drive home after a few days out and others don't have a place they call home. I agree that the bottom line is pay per mile (all miles) is the bottom...

I'm not knocking one Company or the other, both have room for improvement. But If we are talking about money, then you have to look at the picture, the whole picture. That can only be done by looking at the average that you do for the company you are with, compared to what a truck of similar...

    What it's like at Panther

Okay give me a minute. Now everyone don't go getting goofy and lets try and have a fair exchange of information. Secondly I still think a months worth of numbers would be a better comparison. Okay, after a quick look for a 1,000 plus load I have about 2 miles Dead head (Laredo) 1626 Loaded...

Now Phil, I don't remember you ever giving those numbers, why would Dave? So in all fairness how about you first. I have some numbers that I will share. For a better comparison, how about the total miles driven for the month of August and the total pay. along with the type of equipment...
