How much would you charge an Owner?

Sounds like there are several things going on here.. marketing/recruitment/HR person, fleet manager, administrative assistance, dispatch, call centre, accounting, etc. If it were a fulltime job, something like that might pay something like $60-80K or more. If you're doing it part-time, and...

    Should this Forum be renamed?

Geez, touchy touchy! You will forsake this good woman just becuz she has a different point of view and isn't afraid to accuse you of namecalling and immature posturing? Doesn't take much these days! No wonder the divorce rate is so high!

The Thread You Can Use When You Need To

Today I have a few things I need to talk about, so thanks for this thread JamminJim! I have been taught that 'perception is everything'. Personally, if I started a thread, whether it was about a specific carrier or anything else, I'd feel like it was a slap in the face if someone subsequently...

    Should this Forum be renamed?

For a minute there, I thought xiggi had the answer.. to not bother opening any threads started by 'him'. Yay! That way, one could still perhaps receive the valuable information 'he' has, like the one about United Mexican States (hello?), and ignore the wallpaper.. but wait! Then all the posts by...

The Thread You Can Use When You Need To

This morning I went to Tim Horton's to get 2 coffees, the same size and fixins but one with sugar and one with sweetener. The nightshift employees were still on duty, and they were kids. On top of having no timbit for my dog, because there were none ready yet, they mixed up the coffees. They...

The Thread You Can Use When You Need To

I noticed this morning that the pharmacy charged our insurer $35 for a prescription that was filled through our new drug plan. Previously we were used to paying $22 for the exact same thing, when we were paying for it ourselves out of our own pocket. Disgusting.

update on the horrible situation/company I am with.

I believe that all parties must be given a copy of a contract for it to be binding. I don't think there can be a list like that becuz different strokes for different folks. One man's oasis is another man's h*ll. Anyway, good luck with your new carrier. Let us know how it all turns out!

update on the horrible situation/company I am with.

Why do you not know what your contract says? Look up your contract and make sure you know what you're in for when you leave. Make sure you meet all their stated rules about what you have to do (ie return your stuff, get it signed off). Do you have a QC? Make sure you return it, have it inspected...
