    Team Member Lacking The Experience

I think this is a great plan. I've heard ES offers a lot of support for folks new to expediting. Learning to live on the road and crafting your skills as an expediter are your biggest challenges.

    Improving Life In The Cab

We have taken up videography which takes up a lot time and is very fun. Satellite tv is our second go too. Getting out of the truck and exploring is the number one reason we got into traveling. What ever your hobbies may be, make time for them on the road. It makes the job so much more fun.

noob question on where to start!!!

Obtaining a Cdl b can be somewhat easy. I have seen and heard many folks taking their bus driving experience, construction truck experience, and using that to get into expediting. Getting a b Cdl can be as easy as just studying, going down to take the written, then you with a Cdl can rent a...

Best spec ? Freightliner M2 or Cascadia

Only difference between the two is the cascadia is more arrow dynamic.

Best spec ? Freightliner M2 or Cascadia

You may get 12 with a cascadia but that depends on how you drive it. The 112 model would be a little cheaper upfront. But you could make that back in the long run with the cascadia getting a little better mileage.

Best spec ? Freightliner M2 or Cascadia

Take a look at the m2 112 you can get that with the dd13 and ultra shift. We drive that and average 11mpg. One thing to consider is the cascadia is heavy and may limit your weight. Sounds like the m2 you are in now is the 106 model. The 112 model is a little bigger making room for the dd13

Help me build the truck please

Rice? Smh! I would think 16 20 34 would work as long as it's a day cab. Moving a fifth wheel forward would be easier than the trailer tandems. Then that requires a class a though.

Help me build the truck please

The dealer will be able to answer whether in front or behind. In front of tandem is typically used to take weight off the front axle. Behind will push weight on the front axle. With a 16 or 20k front I would think you would need a pusher axle. The dealer will know for sure though

Help me build the truck please

My concern about this set up, is if a 30' box could even handle 38k. I just don't know on that. Maybe someone can chime in on that. Have you talked with a dealer about even specing a truck like this?

Help me build the truck please

Read the second link I posted. Scroll all the way down to see single vehicle bridge weights. It looks like 45k would be your rear with tri axle. Correct 1front axle three rear Drop axle lift axle all the same. Behind the tandem(drive)would be called a pusher axle In front of tandem(drive)...

Help me build the truck please

No clue. From what I know about tandems max weight is 34k. You could do a 20k front axle and a fourth drop axle. That what most rock haulers are doing with the t880's

Help me build the truck please

I have yet to see a box than can handle the kind of weight you are talking.

Help me build the truck please

Just because you have two 20k axles on the back does not mean you can haul 40k on the rear. Dot reg is no more than 34k on tandem axles. You would need a 4th drop axle

Pretty cool. I'd almost be interested in it for camping. Was looking at these fiberglass ones a while back till I seen the hefty 17k price tag lol
