    Looking for a new career

x06col I think the guy is planning ahead if you would read his post again. Jim is right about what to look into. If he is interested in learning about expediting he really needs to do a lot of reading of older posts. Your best bet would be to attend the Louisville truck show at the end of March.

    Mistake

Yes Greg I was plugging into the inverter and just letting the coffee pot stay on with the time showing. Then programming the coffee pot to make me coffee by 2:00 a.m. Worked great twice! I now have to start the generator and plug directly into that make my coffee and turn it off. I have...

    Percentage of night driving

We split our night at two o'clock in the morning. That way we both get some daylight driving. Bob is a night owl and I like to watch the sun come up. The other nice thing about switching then is if you sit a couple days then Bob can stay up a little later and I go to bed a little later and we...

    Mistake

I had the brilliant idea of an under the counter coffee pot. Save room and when it is my turn to drive wake up to fresh brewed coffee. Well Bob in stalled the coffee pot with the standard bungee cord holding everything together. First night wake up to the smell of coffee. Nice! Then the...

    Electric tea kettle

We checked our tea kettle and it is 1000 watts we found that on the UL label. You need at least a 1000 watt inverter but I think 1200 would sure be better. The tea kettle heats water so fast we usually do not leave it plugged in long to wash dishes.

    Road Rage Article

That is a good one Steve and I am sure his wife was hot. Once in Wyoming we had been snowed in with the interstate closed and all of us where moving like snails. Well a few cars decided why not use the shoulder of the interstate and they where going pretty fast. A big truck up in front of us...

    Road Rage Article

Both Bob and I do pretty good but what really gets to me it when the signs say left lane closed ahead. You dutifully move over and then you watch all of the cars zooming forward to cut in front of you. When they even drive down the shoulders my blood really starts boiling. I was really proud...

    Getting ready to start

When we started we read the forum and knew a van was out. With me having no experience we made sure we would be able to work at our carrier and then we went looking for a truck to meet their specs. We went to orientation knowing the truck would pass inspection and we have not looked back. You...

    Question to the ladies

If you are in Iraq you put them in nice zip lock bag. Clean and neat. I would have to open the bag to make sure that was the exact combination I would want.
