just letting ya no.....board shows 2 loads a day..havent had squat come across the qc yet...must be loading those straight trucks because i have seen a lot of them come and go....yhows that for venting???

Sorry you are sitting but at least be thankful you are in nice weather. We are in Maine (the top of the world!) and the snow is about 12-18 inches and more predicted for today...but at least the roads are clear and the sun it out.

Hey, Honda yea I think I met you in San Antone Friday or Saturday of last week, (if your the Panther Driver from Mi. at the Flying J) Thats why I left never have any luck out of there. I went over to Houston Saturday and Sat till Monday. Monday afternoon Manager Came around kicking expediting Vans out so I got ##### deadheaded out had to drive bach to little rock to get a load............... Hate it when that happens

Manager was kicking out cargo vans from the flying j??? I WISH someone would come tell me to leave when im sitting peacefully at a truckstop and there are t/t guys dropping off trailers all the time.

someone must of done something for the manager to kick vans out last time i was down there i talked to the mgr and he said as long as we keep it clean we could stay there as long as we wanted but he said if we start leaving trash all over the place or as i have seen some do take there pee bottles and dump them out any where he would not hesitate to start kicking people out don,t blame him one bit we need to be professonal and quit being lazy slops and at very least put your bottles in a trash can or put it in bag and take it inside and pour it down toilet i don,t want to count how many times i witnessed someone just open there doors or roll down window and pour so lets have some respect for flying j they are the most freindly to B units }>

Whooo Buckeye aweful deep assumption. I am probabably one of the Cleanest out there. I do not know what the probably was with this place. I go to flying J all the time dont have a problem. There were about 5 Vans and some People that had been sleeping in there cars and we all were asked to leave. I did not see anyone trashing the place but I can tell you I surely was not. As far as the urination in cups. Personally being a Van you should be able to park close enough to walk inside.

the deal is the flying j is a truck stop. therefore trucks drop trailers there sometimes. you know sometimes you have to do that to put them in the shop for say an oil change or something. sorry everyone doesn't drive a four wheeler for a living. that's right it's a truck stop not a four wheeler stop. get used to it or go park at the shoneys. i quit using the j after a waitress and the resteraunt manager at the one in effingham,il told me they didn't need professional drivers business as long as they had the family travlers and rvers coming in and out. so frankly the hook can kiss my a$$.

Well buckeye you didn't hurt my feeling you said and i quote someone must of done something for the manager to kick vans" They was a direct assumtion. I agree there are some filthy pigs out here on the road. Every location has there own managers and while they should run the operations that have been set before them by flying j you will have bad managers. These Truck Stops and Travel Centers are not going to have in the operation manuals "Let Vans, Trucks, and 6 wheelers stay untill they get a load or relocate" however just good business practices have set that forth. As far as the J being Most expediter friendly, The only reason I think I could say that would be how the parking lots are set up and I would agree with that. MY POINT you did't hurt my feeling because I could care less, however you made a general comment about a specific problem and a assumtion that said I must have done something for them to ask us to leave......With that I felt the need to defend that.......anyway..there you go!

Wow, You called Flying J a Truck Stop, and they are not for 4 wheelers. We should go to Shoney's and park. I feel you must be bitter. I travel the country just like you do picking up emergency freight and a "Travel Center" would more eagar to accept me parking than a Shoney's dont you think. What I am suppose to do about showers ect. Listen as a former 18 wheeler driver I am not going to judge your narrow mind. As far as the Flying J manager from Effingham goes let me sat this. I once worked for a Travel Plaza chain. I personally heard with my own two ears the president of Pilot and WILCOHESS say that they built locations to sell fuel not for "Truckers" to hang around and the only reason they had overnight parking and showers because they felt it was a neccesity to be successful" They don't care about truckers or the rest that they need they are there to sell fuel. I heard this with my own ears and when I drove a 18 wheeler and as an 4 wheeler expediter I still use them for fuel. GET OVER IT!!!!!! 18 wheel drivers do not own road or TRAVEL CENTERS.
