    A great SPEEDCO

Tude, We've been in ONE Speedco that looked like that, same type of service that you described too, but I can't for the life of me remember where it was! (old age) It's too bad they all can't be like that.

    Sharing Your Photos on EO

Phil, There is distortion in your picture because the picture itself isn't perfectly square. You can get rid of your distortion by making the avatar 48 by 32 I think.

Photos of Big Sleeper Expediter Trucks

Thanks for posting the pictures! It's interesting to see the well put together trucks vs the ones that look like they'd break apart. I would have to say as far as sleeper size goes I would go as large as I could and still be able to haul different sizes/weights of freight. I wouldn't want a...

    Does Anybody Know This Truck?

Haven't seen that one before, but with that single axle back there, and that huge sleeper, could they haul more than a postage stamp? The truck we were in had a single axle, and a 16 ft box and we were pushing it hauling a little more than 5000 lbs.

    Storage Ideas

We used the "over the seat" organizers that are found in the truckstops to keep stuff organized. As far as the cabinets over the driver and passenger seats, we used the small wire baskets found in the office supply stores. Space and organization are always a challenge, and I'm like you, I hate...

    Truckers protest!

Actually, this is part of a larger protest that's going on in cities around the country. Landline and Steve Sommers have been talking about it for about 2 weeks now. http://www.landlinemag.com/todays_news/Daily/2007/Apr07/040907.htm/041307-01.htm

    >Secondly, but not mentioned, is the "D" unit is a 16' >reefer, that can only carry 5,000lbs. Correct me Pel if I am >wrong on that. Dave, yes you're correct but it's listed as a "B" now and yes it did severely limit what we could haul with Panther. Also, in answer to Babs.. "how long...

Home Time Didn't Work - DH 2200 miles UT to NC

Charlotte, Unfortunately, we do not own the truck, otherwise we would make some different choices. Given our circumstances we do the best we can within the parameters we have. Can anyone tell me

Cheri, you and I have had this Macro discussion before and I see by the results of my question....that it's still as clear as MUD! How can an informed business decision be made on information that is inaccurate? Panther's system is so convoluted that a twitch of an eyebrow can change your...

Home Time Didn't Work - DH 2200 miles UT to NC

Hometime board has NEVER worked for us, neither has getloaded.com. We feel your pain....we deadheaded from Portland, OR to New Bern, NC just before Christmas after sitting in OR for a week. We too, did the "favor" and they assured us that there was the freight to get us back home before we...

    Can anyone tell me

What I would like to know is, what is the point of having a limit to how many times you can check? Not that it's a smart thing to do, but if I want to deadhead farther than 300 miles, and I want to know how many trucks are there at a certain time, then what difference does it make to Panther...

    Can anyone tell me

Can anyone tell me why there's a limit to how many times you can check the Macro 8 (suggested reposition) with Panther? Also, why is it limited to a 300 mile radius from where you're located at the time? I just don't get it! The VRU was so much better!
