I have a guy coming for orientation and he needs a ride from Winston-Salem (where the bus drops him) to Kernersville, which is 12 miles away. Anyone in the area? He arrives tomorrow morning at 7 in W-S.

A while ago he was selling his stuff to make some money for the trip to Louisville, at least that's what he was saying... on the other hand, I believe A Blair doesn't take O/O, but drivers only... Indeed, it's hard to believe that's his own van. But hey, who knows the reality?

Unless you know brokers that'll keep your trucks busy, I believe it's a huge risk to start on your own nowadays. My POV.

That's the best place to wait. Huge parking lot for trucks, lots of shade under the trees... across the intersection it's a small truck stop, cheap ice, cheap food, cheap smokes...

About a year ago I was expecting this guy to show up for orientation, in order to drive one of my trucks. He never showed up, sending me an email about a week later with an excuse good enough for first graders. Then weeks later he asked me for a second chance, which even if I didn't trust this...
