I have been looking at APU's. Some offer inverters as an option. Is there any difference between an APU with an inverter or running the output from an APU into the inverter that I already have?

Is anyone aware of a shop/shops that deal in used APU's? Mine is headed down the toilet. It has never performed all the well to begin with and the idea of sinking a LOT of money into a system that I know does not work makes me sick. New APU's cost a fortune. Just looking for ideas.

I am looking at 6V batteries for my house batteries. I am having trouble finding 6V chargers. Right now I have mounted a marine 12V charger in my truck. I would want to do the same with the 6V. Is there such a monster and if so, where can I find it?
