Woke up about half an hour ago after an all nighter, at the J in Haubstadt, IN. Looked across the street at the Love's; they had gone from $2.389 to $2.559 in the six hours we'd slept. The J was still at $2.399, so who topped up before even feeding himself? This guy [emoji57]
The local TV station says they'll be an eclipse watch party at the Capitol Building in Des Moines starting at 11:45. Based on what I'm seeing, it'll probably be a big screen TV in the Rotunda [emoji57]

Made a minor judgment error last night: went to Palm Springs after delivering in Hemet. Thought I'd be centrally located to cast a bigger net, not just LA. However, the J here isn't suitable for long stays; no van parking to speak of. It's also hotter than a redneck's ass on chili night...
