We got a call yesterday while still in Emporia: back 190 miles into Oklahoma, then deliver Monday in Hammond, IN. Soon as the dispatcher said "Monday", I said "nope". We need to be back in PA on Monday, so there went that idea. Besides, my van is not a warehouse [emoji19]

Whyizzit that we can never get a load when we need to go home? Counting from our last load, which delivered last Friday night in San Antonio, we will have deadheaded 1800 miles back to PA when we get there tomorrow night. This isn't the first time we've had to do a four figure DH [emoji51]

Tulsa looked crowded. Headed to Des Moines. Stopped in Emporia KS for the night cos Nancy felt a bit queasy after riding in the back of the van. We'll give it the day, then decide how to play it. We have to be back in PA on Monday for a quick stop at the Dr, then after that we can run in earnest.
