    Classified: Expedite Business For Sale

Very interesting. Although to meet the 5 trucks, they do allow you to take on 4 owner operators with yourself to qualify, not sure if that would be worth 20k...says nothing about assets

    hino 145 buy

Interesting. I didn't know this truck existed. I see up to 17900 GVWR, does anybody know empty weight? Is this a super budget 5 ton or more like a "3 ton" Edit: never mind. Doesn't look like the truck would be able to act as a 5 ton with sleeper lol

If you bid directly, have at it. I was speaking about the prices after it had trickled down to a company with 7 trucks. It would solve everyone's problems to be able to bid directly as a single truck independent. Its not the reality though, that's what people were trying to explain

Since you, for several years now, we have our own insurance...all contractors without plates vehicle and insurance in the driver's name were fired... No idea about the cargo insurance, they won't say anything but they have it and its "not our business" ... so I was curious

Cross your fingers that a lot of operators go down this year and back to Uber.

Agreed on the pricing, I had one AA that was decent rate but not generous last year. Seems like all load boards end up with the freight that is too cheap or too heavy or too much trouble for everyone else to bother with, except taking a percentage on the way thru their fingers Curiosity...

Good deal or should I pass .?

Not knowing the ins and outs of US laws, I didn't want to mention being regulated and possibly insurance lol. I would always carry full tools if I knew how to use them...Harbor Freight has a 3/4 inch drive set that used to sell for $60 dollars that I have never managed to break even with a nice...

Actually...someone may be able to help me here... What's the proper response when you are told that you are going to have your plates cancelled and insurance cancelled if you don't have any deliveries? I think it would have been supremely helpful if I was offered one. Maybe I'm wrong? I was...

Got a call today. Asked if I understood the email, I said yes. Then I waited. Then I got hung up on. Wasn't asked to do any deliveries, would have been fine with that Lol (To clarify...yes it was the old company...insurance changes take so long nowadays)

My shock was it actually made an impact on the huge carrier I left before. With my own plates and insurance back, I'm available...no hard feelings...but no longer exclusive He is now completing the purchase of a third company vehicle and I think I figured out which get loaded first :rolleyes...

What I've been doing lately: 1 local a week, usually a gift to pay for fuel to drive 1.5 hours to pick up my cheque... Had many discussions with the carrier owner; last one was he wants a safety on my van; not for insurance, not DOT or MTO...just for him... (Van was safetied last April) Will...

Fastman, from experience you have to rub your Ford's dashboard and speak nicely to it on occasion, as well as mentally will it onward. Unless you really do want to pack it in... Mine went to a million miles on good intentions

How many miles on your Promaster

I'm wondering if we need some sort of business continuity insurance to buy a new van. That's a scary thought in itself. How would you protect yourself against a lemon? We don't have such a thing as "lemon laws" in Canada, it's province by province, and basically comes down to "buyer beware" even...
